The CSRA Alumni Chapter of Claflin University International Alumni Association 48 th Annual Alumni Convention 2651 Perimeter Pkwy, Augusta, GA 30909 Dear The CSRA Alumni Chapter of Claflin University International Alumni Association, On behalf of the City of Augusta, it is my pleasure to welcome members and guests to The CSRA Alumni Chapter of Claflin University International 48 th Annual Alumni Convention. I offer much appreciation for the CSRA Alumni Chapter hosting this conference at the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton in Augusta. Our community is stronger because of your continuous service and dedication to excellence in upholding the mission of "Feeling Good from the Garden City to the Hilltop High." Claflin University, founded in 1869, is the oldest historically black educational institution in South Carolina. U.S. News and World Report have consistently ranked Claflin as one of “America’s Best Colleges” for the past 25 years. Claflin was also ranked #1 in alumni giving among HBCUs. U.S. News and World Report has consistently ranked Claflin a Top Ten HBCU for the past 11 years. I applaud your leadership and commitment to service and dedication to not only our community but also many others. Your allegiance to the Alumni Association indicates your desire to advocate for the health and wealth of our community. During the convention, take advantage of the opportunity to engage with others and exchange ideas. As you gather in fellowship and build unbreakable bonds to strengthen humanity, your work here is invaluable. While you are here, we hope that you take the time to enjoy the City of Augusta. Once again, thank you for being an integral part of our community and best wishes for a memorable 48th Annual Alumni convention. Sincerely,
