Welcome Welcome to our 2011-2012 programme for Crawley, in which you will find a new and exciting range of adult education courses in your area. Courses are on offer at a range of venues including Ifield Community College, Thomas Bennett Community College and Crawley Library allowing us to keep learning local to you. You will find details of a wide range of courses here. With us you can stay fit and healthy, improve your employment prospects, learn a language or discover a hidden talent. We also want to encourage you to participate in the life of your community, and you will find details here of how you can gain qualifications as a volunteer or by helping out in your local school. Like many other parts of the public sector, we face decreasing government funding, which has led to making some difficult decisions within the Service. Nevertheless, we have kept price increases to a minimum while retaining our Fee Policy structure which we believe enables our courses to be affordable to all. For information on fees and financial support please see pages 4 and 5. If you require further information on any of the courses offered in this brochure please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01293 420505 as we will be happy to provide additional information, advice or take your enrolment. The Service also runs a large number of courses in other areas of the County – for example in Littlehampton, Bognor, Midhurst, Horsham, Worthing, Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath. If you would like more information about these programmes, call us for a brochure or go to www.westsussex.gov.uk/adulteducation We look forward to seeing you on one of our courses in the near future!
