President & CEO of JPS Health Network to Speak at Luncheon, April 20 The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce is proud to Robert Earley, President & CEO of JPS Health Network speak about “JPS – Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow” at the next Membership Luncheon, April 20, at the Grapevine Convention Center, sponsored by Bank of the West and catered by Scratch Kitchen. The JPS Health Network is Tarrant County’s $800 million publicsupported healthcare system, which experienced more than 1.1 million patient encounters in 2013. Appointed CEO in 2009, Earley

has guided JPS and its team of more than 6,000 employees, physicians and contractors through significant changes to further their mission of transforming healthcare delivery for the communities they serve. Under Earley’s leadership, JPS received Level 1 Trauma Center status, created an open heart surgery program, established a certified stroke center and expanded the network’s school-based health centers to 19 campuses. Home to nine medical residency programs, JPS has also added emergency medicine. In 2013, JPS partnered with the Fort Worth Foundation to

develop a central resource facility for the homeless that will include a community clinic to lessen the inappropriate use of the emergency room by patients whose chronic diseases can be managed in an outpatient setting. The new center is scheduled to open in late 2014. Earley’s experience prior to joining JPS includes 10 years of elected service in the Texas House of Representatives. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and holds a master’s in health care administration from the University of Texas at Arlington’s Fort Worth center. Earley is chairman of the

Celebrating 25 Years of Developing Grapevine’s Leaders Dear Leadership Grapevine Alumni & Community Supporters, Because you have proven to be community contributors who believe in the development of our future leaders, we are asking you to be part of this 25 year anniversary celebration. Two major projects are planned – a Flag Plaza and a Concession Trailer Refurbishment. We are working toward raising $25,000 to complete these projects, which will serve as a symbol for the 25-year anniversary of this program and the dynamic leaders who have graduated from Leadership Grapevine. The Concession Trailer is utilized for every festival. It is a time-honored tradition for Leadership Grapevine students to volunteer every year to develop teamwork while giving back to the community. After 20 years, the trailer needs upgrades to remain a festival standout! The Flag Plaza will be built in a highly visible location on the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce grounds. A project rendering is attached. What a great way to leave a legacy in Grapevine! Several donation levels include a company or family name engraved within the structure. Other benefits include:  Promotion of your business by leaving a historical legacy  Recognition as a community contributor and influential business leader  Generating economic development by continuing to expand your business network by staying engaged Sponsorships from our local businesses are needed at every level. Our Alumni are being asked to join the Alumni Association by contributing a $100 in dues. For this initial year, all dues will go towards these two projects. Thereafter, annual dues will go toward their professional and personal development. Dues will renew each March. Alumni may contribute at any donor level in addition to their dues. All donations are tax deductible. The following donation benefits are available. The deadline is March 31st.
