A Chamber of Commerce is defined by the Oxford dictionary as; noun. a group of local business people who work together to help business and trade in a particular town or city. When I see what the Grapevine Chamber does within our community every day, it is so much more than the definition found in any dictionary. In fact, check out your Monday morning email for just a small glimpse into what your Chamber is working on for you. For example, what’s the biggest need the business community is experiencing right now? Employees! Your Chamber has dedicated time and resources to connect job seekers with local employers who have immediate hiring needs via their April 8th Job Fair. If you have job openings and have a few hours to meet potential new employees, interview on the spot, or set up a future interview time – take a look at the Chambers website or get information directly at www.grapevinejobfair.com The Great Taste of Grapevine is yet another way in which your Grapevine Chamber is supporting community needs in fun and exciting ways – who doesn’t love sampling some of the best food Grapevine has to offer in one fun-filled evening?! You enjoy the tastings and your community benefits from the support provided by the Women’s Division through school supplies for GCISD students and Christmas Spirit benefitting area senior adults. A great evening for a great cause – book your tickets now for the 26th Annual Great Taste of Grapevine on April 21st on the Grapevine Chamber website. So much more than a Chamber of Commerce, your Grapevine Chamber is here working everyday to benefit the community at large in so many creative and impactful ways.

TRANSIT DISTRICT OVERLAY Several years ago, Grapevine led the charge to bring the TEXRail commuter line into operation, investing millions of dollars into a top-of-the-line station paired with a boutique hotel and European-style food hall. Ridership dwindled briefly at the height of the coronavirus pandemic, but foot traffic has come roaring back as the world recovers. Main Street set a record for holiday visitors in December, partially because of the access and awareness brought by the train. Trinity Metro reports that the Grapevine station is the most popular weekend stop along the route, and plans to link the station to North Texas via the Silver Line route by 2024.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP MEETING This monthly meeting is a partnership between Chamber member businesses and the City of Grapevine to promote the area for new business, business expansion and retention, as well as to address concerns of local businesses. At each meeting a different guest speaker shares about an upcoming project or a topic of community interest and community leaders share details of permits and certificates of occupancy, both issued & pending. Join us the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Blankenship Business Center to learn the "who, what, when, where and why" about our growing city!

I am a cold weather loving, caffeine-dependent wife and mother of college-aged quadruplets. I'm privileged to be an active Ambassador for your Five Star Accredited Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of the Women's Division and 2021-2022 Leadership Grapevine (AKA The Best Class In The History Of All Leadership Classes). As the Marketing Coordinator for KLM Roofing & General Contracting, I manage the public image of the company, cultivating and maintaining strong ties within the community. I enjoy engaging with customers and thrive on establishing relationships on a personal level. Once A Customer, Always A Friend. I take great pride in providing exceptional customer service and showing others how KLM Roofing as a whole sets ourselves apart. Solid, positive core values define who we are, how we work, how we conduct business and how we live our lives: initiative, ingenuity, clarity, performance and heart. As life-long Texan and resident of Flower Mound for over 20 years, I am proud of the recognition I have received for my commitment to the community as a volunteer with Special Olympics, local organizations, my leadership roles with PTAs and booster clubs, and recently being named the 2021 Ambassador Of The Year for the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce. I am thoroughly enjoying my newly empty nest. When I am not spreading the KLM sunshine, I enjoy taking rowing classes, trying to improve my subpar cooking skills, Marie Kondo-ing my house, spoiling my rescue dog Bruno Mars, and cheering on my kids' college teams: Go Pokes, Wreck 'Em Tech, Woo Pig Sooie and Rock Chalk Jayhawks!
