Grapevine is adept in selecting brand appropriate merchandise to suit your program’s needs. Items will be selected within the identified budget parameters, and will include a wide range of consumer brands as well as a variety of product categories.
Grapevine will work with UPRR to curate a merchandise collection and determine inventory strategy based on redemption projections. Imprint options (logos) and locations will be reviewed and determined based on UPRR brand standards and preference. Additional imprint colors and locations does affect product pricing in many cases. All will be considered and reviewed during the merchandising phase.
Grapevine Designs is well versed in working with client marketing partners and suppliers. It is not uncommon for our teams to have a seat at the table working with clients, their marketing and creative teams, along with agencies of record and other supplier partners to accomplish program management. Grapevine will work with AwardCo to identify ultimate work flow to support the UPRR Employee Recognition Reward Program.
Depending on AwardCo’s availability, we anticipate the two groups working together to identify the proper exchange of order information. This process is dictated by information controlled by AwardCo. But generally, program strategy and development typically can take anywhere from three to four weeks. We would look to obtain the proper contact information to make the necessary introductions to begin development of program strategy and processes.
If UPRR is interested in understanding Grapevine’s capabilities to integrate, automate, and streamline the award redemption process, we are happy to entertain that discussion. Grapevine is positioned to develop an integration strategy with the AwardCo order platform. There are a few different ways to accomplish and will depend on AwardCo’s integration capabilities. Whether it’s a full API integration or exchanging data via automated email reports, our teams will develop a work flow to support the program.
Because the majority of award redemptions (85%) are merchandise orders, there is a strong case to consider transitioning the order platform to be established and supported by Grapevine, with Gift Cards, cash, and vouchers redemptions flowing to AwardCo. More information on this consideration is available if UPRR has further interest.
Grapevine is available to attend any training session for AwardCo’s order platform if necessary. If full integration between AwardCo and Grapevine is achieved, Grapevine is committed to developing the proper training and education for administration and end-users alike.
Once orders are received into a Grapevine platform, users will receive a confirmation email with order summary. Upon order shipment, they will also receive an email notification with tracking information. Orders will be shipped no later than 2 weeks of order receipt for in stock merchandise. Users will be notified if that lead time cannot be met.
Grapevine will develop a standard packaging strategy for program shipments.
Grapevine strongly recommends that we ship 3rd party on UPRR shipper accounts. We can certainly ship on GVD’s shipper accounts and add charges to invoice, however UPRR likely enjoys greater discounts. This is a standard practice with the majority of our client business.
