Brand Grapoila came alive from an upcycling concept of saving grape seeds from wasting, and obtaining their valuable oil content by an own developed, special pressing machine. The first product, the grape seed oil has been proven to be a delicious gourmet oil, as well as a great cosmetic oil. From the very begin we have had an environmentally conscious approach and - far ahead of others - realized Zero Waste production, which meant the use of all the byproducts of cold-pressing. One of them is the so called oil mud, that settles in the unfiltered oil. It is an oil-rich, mud-like material with fine microparticles of the seeds, that actually is a great face mask with exfoliating effect.

With the constant development of the machinery we got able to press very different seeds, and we managed to extend our product range. Grapoila oils became well-known, award winning gourmet and cosmetic oils. Depending on the taste and skin-caring properties of the oils and the residues, we have chosen more and more kind of oil muds to be sold as cosmetics, instead as food..

As the interest on oils as cosmetic ingredients has constantly grown, we started to focus on the external use of our products, and decided to build the Grapoila cosmetics division, along with a research and development team and an own laboratory. As a result we have developed recipes of soaps, lip balms and bath salts, and launched Grapoila all-natural cosmetic line made from the best cosmetic oils as main ingredients: rosehip seed oil, walnut oil, grape seed oil and paprika seed oil. To insist on our philosophy, the cosme-tics have got environmentally friendly packaging, too.

We have finished building the new cosmetic manufacture site in Szerencs and obtained GMP certification. With the lab and equipments we can complete the whole process from developing, to testing and production. We have got orders to both developing recipes of natural cosmetics and for contract manufacturing, and successfully delivered products to partners in Hungary, Germany and Sweden.
