Le linearità delle ante, private di maniglie e di chiavi, si alleggerisce in marcate scanalature e si impreziosisce con decori ad intarsio, in alabastro, platino o legno. Le vetrine fumé custodiscono la segreta bellezza degli interni. Le ampie testiere dei letti, in alcuni modelli si presentano elegantemente imbottite, in altri si aprono in raffinati trafori o si sviluppano in linee ondulate che, tracciando armoniose tessiture, ne svuotano la struttura per catturare la luce. La levigatezza delle superfici e l’accattivante finitura del noce “evolving sense” o “classic sensation” aggiungono note di composta eleganza e consentono l’adattamento ad ambienti diversi. The functionality is duly guaranteed by the presence of effortless self closing mechanism and by the solidity of the hinges. The linearity of the doors, without handles and keys, becomes lighter in marked grooves, and it is embellished with decorative inlays, made of alabaster, metal or wood. The particular colored glass of the showcases keep secret the beauty of the inside part. The large headboards of some models of beds are presented elegantly upholstered. Other headboards are available with refined frets or with wavy lines, that trace harmonious textures, by emptying the structure to capture the light. Pierangelo Sciuto svolge la sua attività a Brescia dove è nato nel 1961. Terminati gli studi scientifici, si laurea presso il Politecnico di Milano con indirizzo in progettazione architettonica. Dopo alcuni anni di tirocinio in studi professionali, si avvicina al mondo dell’arredamento collaborando con alcuni punti vendita altamente qualificati e si specializza sulle tematiche relative alla presentazione del prodotto e della vendita. Nel 1988 fonda lo studio “SCIUTO DESIGN” che nasce con l’intento di creare un punto d’incontro tra professionisti provenienti da esperienze diverse al fine di confrontarsi e trovare sempre stimoli nuovi per la ricerca di tendenze innovative. Pierangelo Sciuto è il regista di questo laboratorio di idee, e con la diversa esperienza professionale dal design industriale all’edilizia privata, è ricercatore di nuovi trend sia nella progettazione che nella loro comunicazione, come parte integrante dell’idea primitiva. Dalla metà degli anni ‘90 è promotore di un’architettura tecnologica e innovativa sia nell’impiego di materiali che di soluzioni tipologiche. Alla fine degli anni ‘90 indica una tendenza che chiama architettura polisensoriale dove la ricerca di un perfetto stimolo sensoriale diviene il concetto primario. Giunge ai primi anni 2000 alla definizione di un ulteriore trend innovativo che chiama design materico legato alla ricerca di superfici tattili naturali, da applicare sia all’architettura che all’arredo che progetta, per ritrovare quelle sensazioni primarie ormai dimenticate. Dal 1994 svolge l’attività di Direzione Artistica presso alcune primarie aziende del settore dell’arredamento per le quali, oltre che guidarne lo stile e l’immagine, disegna anche collezioni e prodotti.
Pierangelo Sciuto is working in Brescia, the town where he was born in 1961. After his scientific studies he awarded the title into architectural design at the Polytechnic of Milan. After several years of training in professional studies, he approached the furnishing sector, collaborating with some highly qualified stores and specializing on matters pertaining to the presentation and sale of the products. In 1988 he founded the “Sciuto Design Studio” created with the intention of realizing a meeting point amongst professionals from diverse backgrounds in order to meet and always find new incentives to search for innovate trends. Pierangelo Sciuto is the director of this laboratory of ideas and with different professional experience from industrial design to private building, he is looking for new trends, both in the design and in their communication, as part of early idea. Since the mid 1990s he was promoter of a technological and innovative architecture both in the use of materials and of its design. In the late 1990s he indicated a trend that was called multisensory architecture, where the search for a perfect sensory stimulus became the primary concept. In early 2000 he came to the definition of a further innovative trend called materic design, dedicated to the research of natural tactile surfaces, to be applied both to the architecture and to the furnishing designs, to find those primary sensations long forgotten. Since 1994 he’s working as Art Director for several leading companies in the furnishing sector for which, in addition to overseeing their style and image, he is also realizing collections and projects.
