9. Sanctuary- a separate place in the eastern section of the church where the major part of the divine service is held. Олтарно пространство- обособено място в источната част на църквата,където се извършва основната част от богослужението.

11Apse-protruding semi-circular or polygonal space, covered by a semi-dome or semi-vault. It is built at the wall.

Oriented to the east; the altar is in it.

Aпсида,абсида-издадено полукръгло или многостенно простванство, покрито с полукупупол или полусвод.Оформено е на стената.Ориентирана е на изток и в нея е олтарът.
