This candidate forum will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in Rochester City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street in Rochester, beginning at 6:00 pm. HCA Healthcare recently announced a $600,000 grant to Volunteers of America (VOA) through the HCA Healthcare Foundation and its Healthier Tomorrow Fund to promote mental wellness and resilience among first responders. The VOA|ReST 4 First Responders program uses virtual small group support sessions led by a trained peer specialist to address the experience of workplace stress and trauma. Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) President and CEO, Brian Hughes, who is also the chairman of the Cooperative Credit Union Association NH Social Responsibility Committee, presented the NH Credit Unions' 2022 donation to Make a Wish NH with Julie Baron, President and CEO of Make A Wish NH, and other NH credit union leaders. Since 1997, NH credit unions and their members have donated $3.5 million to help Make a Wish NH grant wishes for NH children suffering from life threatening illnesses.

Vouchers for Veterans recently received a $5,000 donation from MVSB to support their efforts to provide Veterans in New Hampshire and Maine with food vouchers redeemable at local farmers markets. Vouchers for Veterans is a Rochester based nonprofit that sets up booths at participating local farmers markets where Veterans can receive and redeem their vouchers.
