New Rochester Maps Available The Chamber is pleased to announce the official Rochester Area Street Maps are available. This Rochester area map will benefit businesses, residents and visitors to the area. The Rochester area map includes a Community Profile and photographs with a detailed street map detailing municipal boundaries, all primary, secondary, neighborhood roads and municipal landmarks that are indexed. The Chamber wishes to thank its advertisers for supporting the publication of this map. Committee News Let’s Paint the City Blue! The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Rochester Rotary Club, Holy Rosary Credit Union, American Legion Post 7 Women's Auxiliary and Rochester Main Street have come together to recognize the positive impact that the Rochester Police Department has on our community. The goal is to have visual displays |throughout the City showing support for our men and women in blue including decorating public spaces with blue lights, bows, garland in order to "Paint the City Blue". The group is seeking approximately 30-40 business partners to contribute $100 each, which will be dedicated to purchasing supplies for this effort. Any excess funds will be donated to a charity to be chosen by the men and women of the Rochester Police Department. A limited number of bows, light bulbs, and yard signs are available at the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce at 18 South Main Street in Rochester, Granite Steak & Grill at 11 Farmington Road and Holy Rosary Credit Union at 133 Brock Street in Rochester. The items are free, but donations will be accepted. All proceeds will be applied to additional supplies and any excess funds will be donated to the Rochester Police Benevolent Association. In addition, Thank You Card Stations have been set up at various locations in the city including the Chamber office. The public is invited to stop by and fill out one of the "Thank You" postcards or drop one of your own personal "thank you" cards off for our men and women in blue! Currently, thank you card stations can be found at Granite Steak & Grill, Federal Savings Bank, Potters House Bakery, Blue Seal Feeds, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Holy Rosary Credit Union, and American Legion Post 7.
