In collaboration with the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Rochester Rotary Club, Holy Rosary Credit Union, Rochester Elks Lodge #1393, Rochester Main Street, Rochester Schools, and The Ridge, let's show our appreciation of our local police officers on Saturday, September 17, 2022.

The group has purchased a limited number of bows, blue light bulbs, battery operated blue light strings, window decals and yard signs for distribution. These items can be picked up at one of the following locations: Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Holy Rosary Credit Union at 133 Brock St., Bank of New Hampshire on North Main St., and Granite Steak & Grill on Route 11.

The third Saturday in September is designated as National Thank a Police Officer Day. Now in our fifth year, a dedicated group of community members from a variety of local organizations and businesses will recognize National Thank a Police Officer Day and our Rochester Police Department on September 17, 2022. We are very blessed to have such dedicated law enforcement professionals who are so committed to our citizens, businesses and our community.

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire recently finished changes to their Cochecosystem Nature exhibit. The reimagined exhibit showcases new upgrades that extend young minds' imaginative play and learning! Children can dress up as beavers, build lodges and feed their young kits, or watch osprey guard their nest as they add to their own, fish on the exhibit’s riverbank, hop aboard the replica gundalow and load cargo for a trip upriver, and even take a close look at the river outside. Southeast New Hampshire Habitat for Humanity broke ground with its newest partner family at 35 Richards Way on Wednesday August 24th. This new build is the future home for a Veteran family.
