o, what happened??? Well that's a long two-year discussion circling the table over and over again within our walls at the studio. All we can say is after 7 years of focusing on bringing our readers content, great features, and exciting new events, we felt this is the right time to focus on our art and creative layouts.

We look forward to this exciting new step forward in continuing to bring you, in Grease Inc., some of the best features including several new ideas coming your way! This past year was all about listening. Our crew takes a lot of time to listen to our readers, advertisers, and mentors in the industry. We took notes and we are very happy in the direction we are heading. Thank you again for all of your involvement at any level with supporting Grease Inc. and Garage71. This summer is all about the 71 Days of Summer!!! Beginning this past May, we had a blast kicking it off at the Hard Rock Cafe for the Summer Concert Series. It’s a blast to shut down the city with parking our rides on Peachtree Street, but the real fun is hanging out with the people, looking at the kool new rides people have worked on over the winter, and listening to some awesome music! Make sure you connect with us on our facebook page both at /greaseinc and /garage71radio. Also, we tend to blow up instagram @greaseinc and like to share where we are at and what we are doing... We have two hashtags we live by #iamkustomkulture and #iamrich. Join in by tagging these, and us, in any moment that captures the lifestyle the crew lives each day. We are on the road a lot this month. We begin with heading out to New Mexico for Rockabilly on the Route! This has quickly risen to the top 10 list of things to do each year. “Big Boy” will be emceeing this year and Scott Adams will be working on covering the event with great upcoming features and some amazing road trip pictures. The month is packed with celebrating dads this Father’s Day at Stone Mountain Park with Cruise the Rock on the 19th. We will be back at Elliot Street Pub for our Silverscreen and Gasoline, plus additional bike nights, including Hellbender Harley-Davidson. So check out all the new additions and the great layout on Rockabilly on the Route inside. We will see you on the road this summer!!! It’s all about the Kustom Kulture Lifestyle...

teel in Motion is one of the year's best shows dedicated to emulate the lifestyle depicted through the 40's, 50's, and 60's in America. The Geargoyals Car Club has worked on their vision for years with celebrating a family orientated event at the Union County Dragway. The focus is simple. In a setting that is true to the Americana lifestyle, Steel in Motion provides a weekend collection of nostalgic drags, music into the late night hours, vintage campers, one of a kind hand built trophies, NO billet, and good times with friends and family...

m a e r c r Butteettie B Earrings: Luxulite Hair piece: Shazam Vintage Pin Up Hair Flowers Photographer: Pinup Power Photography Blueberry Hills Fashion is a rockabilly clothing company with amazing original designs! They offer dresses, skirts, tops, coats, and more. I love their unique pieces. You can even find goth and steampunk in their selections. They are constantly coming up with new designs that are truly beautiful. I have personally worn at least five of their dresses and loved them all. Here I am wearing a prototype dress and I really hope it makes it to production. Many of their dresses, like this one, can be worn for a formal occasion or even a fun daytime date! When you visit blueberryhillsfashion.com be sure to look at the Rockabilly Yard Sale for some killer deals. Check the New Arrivals for latest items! I have accessorized with heels and a bag courtesy of Lola Ramona. They can be found on their page http://www.lolaramona.com/ Lola Ramona is a brand born in Copenhagen, Denmark. They have brought a timeless look to bags and heels with a staple look of dots, stripes, and bows. It is an unmistakable style. You will know a Lola Ramona design when you see it! My bag is the Boatie, made of Vegan leather with a black and white weaved pattern. My heels are one of the Angie Mary Jane styles and woven leather. They are very comfortable heels, I might add! I highly recommend getting some of these beauties from their collections for your wardrobe.

s soon as you start smelling the asphalt heat up from the summer sun, you know it's about that time...time for the Smoke Out Bike Rally. It's hitting it's 17th year, and I believe it'll be around for another 17. New life is being breathed back into the event. From the younger generation interest to newer builders and vendors being added to the roster of OG's, momentum is growing fast. We've all been to enough rallies to know the difference between the more glamorous parties and for the ones you may or may not sleep, and I think that's what makes Smoke Out so inviting. Pretty much everyone at the rally camps, eats, drinks, possibly showers (in the designated shower areas-which are well taken care of), dances to live music, races mini-bikes, and sings karaoke on the grounds. There's just something about living, for the weekend, in the same area as all the action; it brings us closer together for one common purpose...to have the time of our lives. Garage 71 and Grease always set up camp in the vendor area, where we've shared the 2 trees in the field with Rusty Nuts Original and Charlie 'The Pinstriper' Tyre. Days of talking shop and meeting new people and nights of moonshine, music, and minibike adventures. It can be as laid back or as deep in the action as you want! I'm not going to cover up the fact that it's one of the hottest rallies on the east coast, but, hell, we all sweat together, AND it makes that ice cold beer go down way faster. If that's not enough to keep you cool, just put your knees in the breeze and hit the drag strip or ride the country roads of Rockingham, North Carolina. Just as long as you're back to get a good spot

in front of the stage for the painted lady contest and bands. By this time, the moonshine is out and in years past, so is the cardboard. You've heard the expression, 'cutting up a rug'...well, Charlie and I have improvised and thrown that cardboard on the ground and got to two-steppin'. The SO is pretty much centered around the music, and this year won't be any different. Deadly Lo Fi, Preacher Stone (whom you may have heard on Sons of Anarchy-admit it or not), Rebel Son (a crew favorite), Atlanta's own Heather Luttrell, and Brent Lundy will be taking over the stage Friday and Saturday to close out the night. But, it doesn't end there...the campgounds are full of after parties and coming back this year is RadioFox Karaoke!! We started out with Chopper Prom, last year was Costume Karaoke (we even had a unicorn show up), and this year is 'Come As You Are' karaoke. From great food trucks to parts for sale and plenty of vendors to choose from to drag and mini bike racing and live music, The Horse Smoke Out 17 is one of the year's best rallies.

Here’s what to look for: •Chopper Co-Op •Product Awards •Drag Racing • Meet the Machine Gun Preacher •Mini Bike Races •RadioFox Karaoke

•Bike Show •Chop Off • Painted Lady Contest • Drift Trike Competition •GrimCo Stunt Show

So, as you read this, I hope you’re getting your phone and locking in some weekend passes to come hang out with thousands, and us, The Grease and Garage 71 Crew. We’ll have some beer on hand to crack open together!! Yea!! Smoke Out 17- June 17, 18, Rockingham, NC. www.smokeoutrally.com Camping and Hotel Accomodations available through site. P.S. If you meet a man by the name of ‘Edge’, shake his hand, and thank him for putting this insane weekend together for us to...Lord knows what! The countdown begins... \m/

Welcome Rockabilly on the Routers, It’s hard to believe it’s already the first weekend of June, and harder still to believe it’s been a whole four years since we brought our dream to the streets of Tucumcari to create a weekender that puts this incredible, historic city on the map and raises money for the state’s only Route 66 Museum (located in the convention center.) With a heck of a lot of determination, and the help and support of good friends, we have been able to create the largest and most successful rockabilly weekender on Route 66, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Every year we are overwhelmed by the support and kindness of Tucumcari residents who graciously welcomed us into their city year after year, and to the entire Rockabilly on the Route family that continues to grow beside us. If this is your first year at Rockabilly on the Route, you are about to have the time of your life! And to all those that are returning, we can’t wait to see you again and say “hi!” We look forward to seeing the highlights of your adventures with us on our social media network! #ROR2016 This year we are excited to be expanding our headlining shows at the convention center to include a Thursday night performance, and more excited still to be welcoming acts from around the world, per ROR tradition. New this year, as well, will be the swap meet and flea market at the Quay County Fair Grounds, located behind the convention center, and the addition of the Tucumcari VFW Hall as a venue and host of our first ever pool tournament on Friday, and the Red, White and Booze event on Thursday, horning all veterans and active duty personnel. We kindly remind you to RSVP for all VFW events at the Rockabilly on the Route Information Booth at the convention center, as individuals must be signed in by a VFW member to enter the hall. We also remind you that this year the convention center parking lot is reserved for the car/bike show only, and general parking is now located at the fair grounds. Over the next four days we look forward to meeting you, hearing your stories, taking pictures together, and having an all around fantastic time. Our greatest reward is to see all of you having a blast, so live it up! Without further ado, welcome to the Fourth Annual Rockabilly on the Route!
