years in the making. Where did the time go? It is hard to believe we have made it through so much, from the launch of a station when no one knew what internet radio is, to developing one of the best regional newsstand quality “rags” in our kulture. We want to thank everyone who has been with us from the beginning and all those who support us now! It is you, our readers, our sponsors, our endorsements, and our loyal fans that we are here today. A million thanks and appreciation for all that you do!!! We respectfully enjoy that fact that our anniversary month falls in November when traditionally we should all be thankful and ensure we take the time to reflect on the year and show appreciation for every good deed or action that has taken place. It is also the time of year to look at what we can do for the new year coming to show a little more compassion when necessary. It is a time to set aside some personal time and contribute to a local cause or charity that directly impacts your community, your kulture, or a friend. It is the generosity of our hearts and realizing our humanity when it comes to personal support. These random acts of kindness go so much further and create a real bond between people as opposed to the programmed organizational charity drives where over 50% of the revenue raised goes to the organization, rather than the charity itself. This fall, especially this year, it is time to get involved. It is time to pay attention. It is time to support the right causes and the right movements to better America. It is time to improve our future and our children’s future. It is time to give back a little so many can have more in decades to come. Get involved in collections of can foods, clothes drives, and assisting children in need. Not only are we making a difference for a person in need, but the overwhelming uplifting feeling goes a long way for your own personal empowerment. We want to wish everyone a wonderful, safe, and great holiday season. May you and your families enjoy the family traditions passed on generation to generation. May you create memories and stories that can be shared for decades. May you enjoy a very Happy Thanksgiving... #iamkustomkulture #garage71radio @greaseinc

s a teacher I understand the importance of educating yourself before trying something new. This is why I decided to take a basic rider safety course. I chose Two Wheel Adventures because I heard Chris Carr was the best in the business. As a 45 year-old newbie to riding, I signed up not knowing how to turn on a bike, much less how to ride one! Arriving to the first class on Saturday morning, I was a bit anxious and intimidated. Immediately Chris put me at ease! There were a total of six in the class and one was another female (which was awesome!) There was a real sense of community among the students from the very beginning. I truly believe this is because of the atmosphere Chris creates in his class. Chris and David are phenomenal; I can’t say it enough! I was very relieved to find out that they were patient, direct, informative, and friendly instructors, who have numerous years of experience to share with you. They offered constructive advice and made sure you knew the realities of riding and how to be as safe as possible while riding. I am a type of person who learns through hands-on experiences, and

having an instructor that can work with you individually helped me tremendously as a student. They work hard to boost your confidence before you get on the course. I made my share of mistakes yet Chris and David was very understanding and gave me pointers on how to correct them. They continuously encouraged me with great feedback. The class had a perfect balance of discussion, bookwork, and riding. They walked you through everything, including all the bike controls and I was really glad because I knew NOTHING! Each exercise was practical and built on the one before. Either Chris or David would stop and talk to each one of us individually and tell us what we were doing wrong, how we could improve, or

I am convinced that I left the class with practical knowledge of how to operate and ride a motorcycle in a safe manner.

asked if we had any questions. They routinely did this after every exercise or mid-way through. I felt like we got plenty of oneon-one instruction from them. If someone needed a little extra help, they would pull that person aside (me being one of them), and go over things a little more slowly. They were spot on with identifying what we weren’t doing right, and then we’d go out and try it again. With this attention and guidance I became more and more confident. Not only do they want you to learn to ride safely, they want you to enjoy the experience. I realize how difficult it is to teach and was very impressed with Chris’s ability to reach all levels and learning styles! I am convinced that I left the class with practical knowledge of how to operate and ride a motorcycle in a safe manner. I highly recommend this course to everyone, whether you are new to riding or you have been doing it for a while. Either way, you’ll meet a bunch of great people, you will learn something new from the best instructors, and you will definitely enjoy yourself!!! With the holiday season approaching, this course would be great gift for someone special in your life!

A

lain Bernard has been an internationally recognized motorcycle builder for decades. Originally from the small northern French town of Lille, Alain was born into the motorcycle world with his great-grandfather

owning a shop in the early 1900’s. It was in the early to mid 1970’s that Alain purchased his first bike, a Kawasaki 750 H2. By the late 70’s Alain was already building his first chopper; he combined a Harley motor with a Kawasaki, a signature of Alain’s still today.

The entire build is one of a kind, from the traditional molding of the tank to the Amen Savior frame.

in the early 2000’s, after coming and going to the United States, Alain made the complete transition to Tampa, Florida, coming most recently from the Dominican Republic. Since then, Alain has set trends with his combination build projects, including the infamous Norley, a work of machined art with the placement of a Harley motor in a Norton motorcycle on Cafe Racer. The 79’ chopper feature is a special build project because the motorcycle originally was built as Alain’s dream motorcycle. Taking today’s skills and new machine capabilities, Alain and Santiago Choppers took an American 70’s style chopper and finished it with a KZ1000 motor. The entire build is one of a kind, from the traditional molding of the tank to the Amen Savior frame. Then finished with a paint scheme by French friend and painter Peter LaBarbouille with local painter Craig Skiver. This build is one of the best representations of Santiago Choppers and Alain Bernard.

F

or the most part we refrain from becoming all political or getting involved into political debates with our rag. We feel it's not the place for it. Our kulture represents the core values of what America stands for. We admire and emulate

our country's history when it comes to standing up to fight when the reason is just. We believe in the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. We believe in protecting our families. We believe in protecting our rights. We believe hard work is required to achieve these goals, and we hope to provide a better life for our families.

This election year is unique on so many levels. We have taken our highest position in office and have brought down to a reality TV show level, like Jersey Shores. There has never been so many scandals involved on the forefront of any election. The dust is kicked up so much at this point it almost seems hopeless and the American way is lost. Well, the American way is not lost. This is exactly what we need as Americans. We all need to pay closer attention on a regular basis to what is happening on the hill. We need to be more involved and force our rights of inclusion in all processes granted to elected officials. This is our country. We highly encourage everyone to get out to “Rock the Vote” this November 9th. If you are eligible, it is your civil responsibility to diplomatically cast your vote and respect the vote of others. I believe we are all are doing our part to make the best choice for ourselves, our families, and the future of this great country. There is a lot at stake. The power of the judicial system is at a critical turning point. The country is splintered with racial tension that has not been this present in decades. The corruption of Capital Hill has been exposed to a point such that we, the people, demand answers and elected officials need to be held accountable for their actions. We are not here to tell you who to vote for. Again, that is not who we are as a group. There are arguments on all sides that both have merit as well as faults. What we can not do is give up. What we must do is make this election the largest turnout our country has ever seen. It’s time to “Rock the Vote.”

There are arguments on all sides that both have merit as well as faults. What we can not do is give up.
