David is currently a Chair in the School of Applied Computer Science & Information Technology at Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. MEET THE MENTORS Fernando Castillo, Sales Training Manager Fernando Castillo currently holds the position of Sales Training Manager at BlackBerry. In this role, he collaborates with various stakeholders to provide the sales team with comprehensive product and skills training. Mr. Castillo has also designed specific training programs on a range of topics, including Sales Prospecting and Artificial Intelligence. Before joining BlackBerry, he served as the General Manager of Bittium, where he was responsible for the sale of bespoke cybersecurity solutions to national security agencies in Mexico and Latin America. Prior to this, he held the position of Director for Latin America at Mobile Frontiers. In this role, he advised the Mexican government on vendor selection and terminal development for a national security satellite system. Earlier in his career, Fernando served as the Deputy Director of International Affairs at Mexico’s Telecommunications regulator.
