Military affairs coalition

The Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce’s Military Affairs Coalition (MAC) was established to strengthen relationships between the community and the Airmen of Robins Air Force Base. MAC’s focus is on fostering connections that positively impact both the Airmen and their families.

Membership dues are used to support various initiatives, including the Team Robins Annual Awards, Air Force Birthday celebrations, assistance for First Sergeants and support for deployed families. This funding plays a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of those who serve and their loved ones.

Business Resources and Engagement Works is a Chamber program where ideas, connections and learning BREW. The Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce reserves Fridays for Investor-led programming, dedicating time for ongoing learning and networking within our Chamber community.

These sessions can take place at your business or Chamber headquarters. The Chamber provides coffee, light breakfast and a learning panel made up of Macon Chamber Investors—experts in their fields who lead local businesses. In partnership with Macon Magazine, the Greater Guide serves as the Chamber’s official directory, highlighting our diverse network of local businesses, organizations, services and products.

The annual Macon-Bibb County Student/Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program is an awards banquet celebrating the academic achievements of local graduating students and their most influential teachers. This event, hosted by the Chamber in partnership with the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE), honors the dedication and hard work of our students and educators, bringing together families and the community.

With two awards banquets, the Bibb County STAR winner will advance to the prestigious Region 6 STAR Banquet, where they will compete with outstanding students from across Central Georgia.
