Barbara Donovan is Professor of Political Science and the Dupont Guerry Chair of History and Economics at Wesleyan College. She holds a PhD from Georgetown University, a Masters from the University of London, and a BA from Tufts University. She teaches comparative and international politics, with a focus on Germany and Europe. She is the recipient of a number of grants and fellowships, including those from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), National Science Foundation, the Social Science Research Council, and the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies. She is a frequent contributor on panels at the German Studies Association, and the International Conference of Europeanists, and is also the author of a number of articles in such journals as German Politics and Society and German Politics. At Wesleyan she has served as division and department chair, Chair of Faculty Council, and Director of the Quality Enhancement Plan From Here to Career.

A leader among the fiscally responsible Democrats in Congress, Congressman Bishop has served on the House Committee on Appropriations since 2003.
In addition to being the Ranking Member of the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies
Appropriations Subcommittee, Congressman Bishop also serves as the Co-Chair of the Congressional Military Family Caucus, a senior member of the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies
Appropriations Subcommittee, and a senior member of the Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Subcommittee.
Bishop was first elected to Congress in 1992 after serving in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1977 to 1990 and in the Georgia Senate from 1991-1992.
Bishop graduated from Morehouse College in 1968 and from Emory University Law School in 1971.

His committee assignments include the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the House Armed Services Committee, and the House Agriculture Committee, all vitally important to Georgia and the Eighth District
Congressman Scott is the Vice Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee and the Chairman of the Subcommittee on General Farm Commodities, Risk Management, and Credit. He is also a co-chairman of the Congressional Crop Insurance Caucus.
As a leading House Armed Services Committee member, Scott sits on the Subcommittee on Readiness and the Subcommittee on Intelligence and Special Operations. He also serves on the Board of Visitors for the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation. Congressman Scott fights to ensure we have the best equipped and trained military in the world, including capabilities to combat adversaries like China, Russia, and Iran. He works with military leaders to strengthen the missions at Robins and Moody Air Force Bases in Georgia Eighth District and provide the tool our warfighters need to keep our country safe.
