How can visitors (and residents) create lasting memories while experiencing our diverse sights and sounds?

ILENE SHAPIRO: While in Summit County, you can visit the Cuyahoga Falls riverfront for festivals and beautiful scenery. You can take a stroll around Barberton’s Lake Anna and head to the Arts and Entertainment District to see local artists on display. In the winter months, you can hit the slopes for skiing and family fun at Boston Mills Brandywine.

DANIEL M. HORRIGAN: So much about this city is “uniquely Akron.” For those visiting or living here, we hope that our combination of friendly faces, access to local and national parks, sense of entrepreneurship, love of arts and entertainment, and pride in our rich history, coupled with our current infrastructure revitalization efforts, makes a lasting impression.

How would you describe Akron’s special brand of hospitality to someone who has never visited our community?

ILENE SHAPIRO: Summit County is an innovative community, committed to engaging all of its diverse residents and visitors in cultivating an engaging and distinctive place to live, work and play. We hope your visit is filled with scenic beauty, beautiful music, delicious meals and loads of fun. You are always welcome in Summit County, and when you are here, you are always home.
