Throughout 2022, the “Dunbar 150” project will celebrate the 150th anniversary of Dunbar’s birth with a variety of activities. The commemorative flagship event, held at the Victoria Theatre on June 25, highlights the 21st century relevance of Dunbar’s works with recitations by worldrenowned poets including Nikki Giovanni, spoken word performances, musical selections and more.
