550 head of slaughter cattle sold today at Greeley. When comparing like cattle, the market was fairly steady as compared to last week. Last week we saw a lot of young, commercial and even select beef culls, but that was not the case this week. Highlights this week included feeder bulls out of NE and UT.Beef breakers ranged $55.00-63.50. Utility beef cows ranged $50.50-58.00, lean beef cows averaged in the high $40s to low $50s. Breaker holsteins ranged $51.50$61.00, utility Holstein slaughter cows ranged $48.50-52.50/ cwt and leans in the low to mid $40s.
