STATE AND FEDERAL REPORTING Compared to a week ago: Slaughter and feeder lambs were unevenly steady on a good test. Slaughter ewes were fairly steady on a very good test. In the goats, slaughter kids traded unevenly steady, while slaughter nannies/does traded 5.00 – 10.00 lower. Slaughter bucks/billies traded sharply higher. Wethers traded mostly steady. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. In the sheep supply 22% slaughter lambs, 30% feeder lambs and 48% slaughter ewes and bucks. The goat supply consisted of 79% slaughter kids, 13% slaughter nannies/ does and the balance slaughter billies and wethers.
