Dear friends, You’ve given us another amazing year at Green Star! Thanks to you, the Electronics Recycling Depot broke all records in 2015. The Recycling Guide reached more than 40,000 mailboxes in the borough. And the Special Event Recycling program helped keep tons of recyclables out of the trash. But only because of awesome people like you! Your support has helped us grow our programs and continue dreaming big for the future. Did you know the borough is planning to open a Central Recycling Facility? If Green Star becomes the operator, we would collect and consolidate recyclables, use the materials locally if possible and ship the rest to market. To serve as a “one-stop-shop,” you could recycle electronics, cardboard, newspaper, mixed paper, aluminum cans, plastic bottles and containers, steel/tin cans and glass in one location. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?! Green Star’s commitment to recycling makes this nonprofit the best choice to run the facility. You can trust that we would work hard to make it successful. To show your support, will you take a moment right now and make a donation? When you contribute to Green Star, your gift helps develop more recycling opportunities in the Interior! Yours truly,

Becca Brado, Executive Director P.S. Last year’s 2nd annual Swap-O-Rama clothing swap was lots of fun. We’re now planning an even bigger and better event. Mark your calendars: Saturday, August 27th at Pioneer Park!
