Camino de Santiago French Way The “Camino Francés” is the most popular of all the Camino. It starts in St-Jean-Pied-de-Port on the French side of the Pyrenees. This route goes through the magnificient cities of Pamplona, Logroño, Burgos and Léon, before entering in Galicia, finishing in the stunning Santiago de Compostela.

Camino de Santiago Finisterre Way Reaching Santiago de Compostela, you have the opportunity to continue your walking experience on the Finisterre Way. This is the only Camino going away from Santiago de Compostela. This route, pre-dating Christianity, was believed to be "the End of the World" (Costa da Morte). The pilgrimage finishes at the top of the cliffs of Finisterre, overlooking the Atlantic ocean.

Your pilgrimage finishes in Santiago de Compostela and its amazing Cathedral.

Camino de Santiago Northern Way The Northern Way is the route that runs along the northern coast of Spain. It starts in the Basque Country, from the amazing seaside resort of San Sebastian. The Way also passes through Bilbao (home of some of the best Tapas in Spain and the world famous Guggenheim museum), Santander (seaside resort and Grand Casino), and Oviedo (great atmosphere, delicious seafood and cider). Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to swim almost every evening in a different coastal resort.

Original Way The Original Way or Camino Primitivo, got its name as it was the first pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, when in the 9th Century Pelayo, rediscover the tomb of St James. The Camino de Santiago and St. James became, de-facto, symbols of the “Reconquista” and the oppression of Christians. Today, the "Camino Primitivo" is the most challenging of all the Camino Ways. It goes across the Cambrian Mountains, with outstanding views over the Pico de Europa, giving a chance to trekkers to give themselves a push.

Camino de Santiago Via de la Plata By far the longest Camino, the Via de la Plata crosses the whole Spain from South to North. This Way was used by North African Christians on their way to Santiago de Compostela. Camino de Santiago Portuguese Way The Portuguese Way is a good alternative for pilgrims that are looking for a more rural experience on the Camino. It starts in Lisbon (Portuguese capital and home of UNESCO sites), passes through Santarem (Moorish bastions in Portugal), Coimbra (one of the first University), Porto (UNESCO city and Porto wine) and finishes in Santiago de Compostela.

Jaume Way The impressive cultural heritage of Catalonia will surround you from Port de la Selva to Logrono. Passing through old villages and isolated monasteries, this authentic route offers a lot of traditional and historic places. In 1987 the Way of Sant Jaume was indeed declared European Cultural Itinerary and in 1993 added to the World Heritage list of UNESCO. Once in Logrono, you can continue your adventure on the French Way.

Camino de Santiago Le Puy Way Le Puy Way, or Chemin du Puy, starts in Le Puy-en-Velay, close to Lyon in France. This is the most popular of Camino ways across France. Le Puy Way, is a superb hike through the Aubrac plateau national park, Quercy and the Gers (home to the famous Armagnac brandy). It finishes in the foot of the outstanding Pyrenees Mountains, where you can continue your adventure on the French Way.

Camino de Santiago Arles Way The Arles Way, or Chemin d’Arles, was traditionally the route used by people from Italy and the south of France on their way to Santiago de Compostela. You will feel a particular atmosphere walking this Way, as it will lead you through the south of France and across the Pyrenees. The Arles Way joins the French Way at Puente la Reina, 20km south of Pamplona.

Camino de Santiago Paris & Tours Way The Paris & Tours Way is the route for the pilgrims coming from the North of France and Europe. It was an important road used since Celts and Roman times. Tours is an unmissable stage of the way and has been highly frequented by pilgrims, because of the famous tomb of Saint Martin (Evangelist in the IVth C.). This route is hilly but not difficult, and can be easily done, by walking or by bicycle. It joins the French Way in St Jean Pied-de-Port.

Camino de Santiago Vezelay Way Vezelay Way, or Chemin de Vezelay, runs southwest from the little town of Vezelay, famous for its abbey and the shrine of Mary Magdalene. The route then continues across the foothills of the Limousin, the hills and valleys of the PĂŠrigord, the large plains of Aquitaine and finally the nicely wooded Landes region. It joins the French Way in St Jean Pied-de-Port.

Camino de Santiago Cluny Way The Cluny Way starts from Burgundy, the famous French vineyard. This route begins in the historical town of Cluny which has spread throughout Europe. It then crosses the Beaujolais hills, then winds through the countryside and the coast Roannaises through the Forez Mountains before joining the Puy en Velay through the gorges of the Loire. You adventure continues on the Puy Way.

Via Francigena

Via Francigena The Via Francigena is an ancient road to Rome, passing through England, France Switzerland and finally Italy. In medieval times it was an important road for the pilgrims heading south, and is since 1994 designated as a European Cultural Route by the Council of Europe. The route travels through some of the most stunning scenery in Europe, such as Kent, WWI battlefields, Champagne, Alps, Abruzzo, Umbria, Tuscany, Lazio, with the majority of the walking taking place on off-road tracks and ancient Roman roads.

Via Francigena St Francis Way The St Francis Way, through Assis and Umbria, is an alternative route of the ancient Roman road between Florence and Rome. It is also known as the Way of St Francis of Assisi finishing in the Holy See, in front of St Peter’s Basilica.
