“We are not stand-up comedians. Our show is not a passive, sit-back-and-watch experience. Most of the fun we have on stage comes from our inclusion of the audience – we get suggestions from them to begin each scene we perform, and in certain instances, bring them on-stage with us to add to our performance. It’s less a ‘show’ and more a party. At least it feels like one to me. This group of actors brings me right back to how I started out in comedy – maybe that's why we have so much fun doing it.” ~ JIM BELUSHI

THE OAKVILLE CENTRE CLASSIC ALBUMS LIVE SERIES

~ Andy Frost, Q107

~ The Toronto Sun

CLASSIC ALBUMS LIVE Craig Martin is the producer and wearer of many hats behind the Classic Albums Live series. These concerts are note-for-note, cutfor- cut classic albums that have shaped and defined rock music as we know it. Each concert faithfully recreates an album note for note. “It’s not a tribute band” Mr. Martin says. “It’s a recital. Like listening to Mozart by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.” Craig hires specific musicians for each show, often up to twenty. He even hired a children’s choir for Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Mr. Martin says he’s only as much of a perfectionist as his audiences. “People are purists. They’re waiting to hear that certain note or squeal”. Classic Albums Live is the ultimate for music lovers!

Frank Meschkuleit’s

MY BIG FAT GERMAN PUPPET SHOW

WARNING: Adult Themes & Language

with special guest Marty Stelnick Saturday, February 8, 8:30 pm in The Studio Theatre Frank Meschkuleit's training with Jim Henson’s Muppets cemented his love for animating the inanimate. He has worked from coast to coast in television and feature films as a puppeteer including the hit show Fraggle Rock. His new show, My Big Fat German Puppet Show is bound to test boundaries and may give new meaning to “no man is a theatre”...or is he? Marty Stelnick has performed well over a thousand hours of television from the adorable, pre-school monkey Ooh, from (Playhouse Disney’s) Ooh, Aah and You, to the acutely offensive Apollo of Apollo’s Pad.

Kaha:Wi Dance Theatre’s

NEOINDIGENA Friday, May 9, 8:00 pm NeoIndigenA is the much-anticipated full evening solo created and performed by Artistic Director Santee Smith. The new conceptual performance explores Indigenous sources from the perspective of an unbroken continuum. She navigates liminal space between the futuristic realms of Skyworld, Underworld and Earthworld. It’s an ecstatic, transcendent, primordial, perilous and biomorphic journey propelled by the elemental voice of Tanya Tagaq, Cris Derksen’s cello and others.
