Greenpeace Romania continued its monitoring activity in the field of illegal logging for 2013 – 2014 and found out that a total of 45,509 cases were registered, producing a staggering average of 62 cases per day. The new report presents information about the illegal logging cases identified and investigated by the responsible authorities. The data shows an increase from 28 cases per day during 2009-2011, respective 50 cases per day in 2012.
