A TYPICAL DAY AT CAMP GFA
play. learn. explore.
Each day kids at Camp GFA move through three activity periods, led by specialists and camp counselors: Arts & Crafts, Athletics, and Nature Explorations. The age-appropriate activities focus on the developmental needs of each age group. Campers bring their own lunches, and enjoy a fun-filled recess period with their group. After lunch, the group takes a little time to quiet down with activities like drawing, board games, reading, and story-telling. Most days finish with a trip to the beach, where certified lifeguards are always on duty. However, one afternoon each week features a presentation from either the Maritime Aquarium, Discovery Museum, Rain Forest Reptiles, or Earth Place.
