Go to your library to get a log or download one at greenvillelibrary.org/kids/ kindergarten-readiness. Complete Palmetto Basics activities to earn a Little Learners Club tote bag and pins. The Palmetto Basics activities are meant to enrich the early years of your child’s life. Complete Little Learners Club requirements by kindergarten to foster school readiness.

Join us for stories, music, and activities that help preschool children develop social, listening, and comprehension skills. No-Cook Cinnamon Ornaments Ingredients • • • • •

1 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup salt 1/4 cup cinnamon 3/4 cup warm tap water Cookie cutters, writing pen

Directions 1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. 2. Knead dough with clean, dry hands. Put flour on your hands if dough sticks. 3. Make dough into a large ball, then use rolling pin to roll dough out onto a piece of waxed paper. 4. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters. Poke a hole through the top with a writing pen. 5. Let dry for 48 hours. 6. Loop a piece of ribbon or yarn through the hole. Yields approximately 10 ornaments per batch of dough.
