Studio Brief Title
Brief 07 - Studio Window Synopsis Create an inspirational and positive vinyl decal for the studio window in Room 136 at Leeds College of Art. My concept for the window is that i wanted it to be typographic and contain some of the best quotes from the year groups PPP manifesto presentations.

Evaluation This brief came at a time when i was stuck in a bit of a rut with my work and gave me a period of time to just concentrate on something else and leave what was getting in my way. The brief involved producing a vinyl piece for the studio window, it didn’t have to me massively complicated or taxing on me either which was brilliant for the time because of getting stuck with other larger more important briefs this allowed me the space to sit back and get some head space while just producing something fun for the studio window. The brief taught me how to turn something around really quickly, as the brief needed turning around in a day. This drew on my organisational skills as i had to source the vinyl and plan the production for the display to enable the application to the window. It also made me let other people contribute to my work, by asking peers what they would like to see and then taking their feedback and input on board this was wholly beneficial for the outcome to the brief because it was going to be situated in the collective space of the studio. Overall, i think the outcome to the brief provides a fun and positive addition to what was once just an unused space in the studio. I think it adds to the already existing working environment and also acts as a good promotional piece to describe the course when external people come in to visit and look around the space.
