Task description Students visit the Wollongong Court complex during a double lesson and gather information on the courtroom setting, court personnel and the court environment. Students will also need to observe a case (or part thereof) whilst on the excursion.

Section A: The Court Environment (30 marks – 10 marks each) 1. Explain, with the use of a diagram, the layout of the courtroom. 2. Explain the roles of court personnel you observed on the day. 3. Describe the court environment.
