CRITERIA 1.3 Identify hygiene hazards that may affect the health and safety of customers, colleagues and self. 1.4 Take action to remove or minimise the hazards within scope of individual responsibility and according to organisation and legal requirements. 1.5 Promptly report hygiene hazards to appropriate person for follow up where control of hazard is beyond the scope of individual responsibility.

Design and produce a poster that identifies ONE potential personal hygiene or environmental hygiene risk and suggests how to prevent the risk Limitations: the poster must have the following essential criteria: - A4 size - Must identify a hygiene risk not a safety risk - Identify one hygiene risk and preventative measure - Clear design - Use of colour - Presented at a neat and professional standard through the use of computers 2. State the procedures (WHEN, HOW and WHO) of reporting the hygiene risk addressed in your poster if you observed it in : (a) School Kitchen (b) Industrial kitchen (in the workplace) Hand-in tasks must be submitted at the student office before 8:45am. Tasks submitted after 8:45am will have a late submission receipt attached to them and signed by the Student Office Staff. This will be handed to the Academic Care Coordinator who will note its receipt and pass it on to the relevant KLA Coordinator. If you are unable to hand the task in on the due date, follow the illness / misadventure policy outlined in your assessment manual. This includes phoning the College by 8:30am and obtaining documented evidence.
