FOOTBALL We held a big blitz on in Terry Coyle Park, August 12th, with 12 teams, both under 10s and 8s. There were 120 girls all together playing at the same time, so it was a very busy morning. Both pitches were in use, thank God the weather was good. We’d like to thank all the parents, senior ladies players, stewards, Karen Galligan who helped out with all the refreshments and all who who helped on the morning with the cark park and shop. The under 8s and 10s played in the Tom Dowd competition on August 26th, where both teams done very well. It was a tough morning but they battled through it. Thanks all who helped me out this month, as it was busy with football and camogie :) - Karen
