AGENCY PR BIOS HELEN GREGORY, FOUNDER / DIRECTOR Prior to founding a lifestyle marketing agency in May 2001, Helen was a communications manager for ICEX/Wines from Spain and a director of the brand management team at Kobrand Corporation, overseeing prestige brands such as Maison Louis Jadot, Champagne Taittinger, Cos D’Estournel and Sassicaia. She has worked in strategic brand management for industry leaders such as Moët Hennessy USA, Rémy Cointreau, Founders Brewing Co., MGP Ingredients, STOLI and Robert Mondavi Winery, and has led multi-annual regional campaigns for Drink Ribera, DO Rias Baixas, DOP Cariñena, Wines from Spain, France Sud-Ouest, and Prosecco Superiore. A graduate of Princeton University with a B.A. in Politics/Economics and a recipient of the prestigious Jean Monnet Fellowship in Business from the Ecole Polytéchnique in Paris, Helen speaks French, Spanish and Italian and received the National Association of Women Woman of the Year Award for Excellence in Marketing.

TRISH HEYWOOD, MANAGING DIRECTOR Trish has worked in branding and marketing communications strategy for more than 15 years. Her career is rooted in consumer insights to inform highly effective communications strategies. While managing Weber Shandwick Worldwide’s Western Canadian offices, Trish led the Instituto dos Vinos de Douro e Porto account. She has worked with leading multinational consumer goods companies and communications firms on three continents and has conducted research around the globe in 16 countries. Trish has a Masters of International Management and recently completed the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Diploma.

NATASJA MALLORY, ACCOUNT DIRECTOR Tasja completed a Master’s Degree in Food Service Management at New York University and also holds a degree in Journalism. She simultaneously worked as the Purchasing Manager (overseeing a $3.5 million annual budget/inventory) for the prestigious Union Square Hospitality Group/Gramercy Tavern under top chef Tom Colicchio and her mentor, Danny Meyer. Tasja moved to Paris in September 1998 to work for Caves Augé as an Assistant Sommelier/Manager, and was then recruited as the Director of the International Wine Department for Lavinia wine boutique in Spain. Fluent in Italian, Tasja left Lavinia to serve as Technical Director of Italian importer Mergalli Giuseppe, and as a founding Partner in Tuso, specializing in wine education and marketing initiatives for food and wine clients. With her mastery of Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese, Tasja is a a recognized judge for the European Taster’s Guild. She joined the agency in 2011 and has brought her significant experience to develop the European account division from Veneto to Oporto.


AGENCY PR BIOS EMMA MRKONIC, ACCOUNT & DIGITAL MANAGER Emma joined the Gregory + Vine team after completing her international Masters in Business Administration in northern Italy. Originally from Kansas City, Emma began her career in wine while working the 2014 harvest at Alpha Omega in Napa Valley. After traveling across Europe and visiting diverse wine regions from Valdobbiadene to Loire Valley, Emma decided to turn her passion into a full-time career. In her day-to-day, Emma is driven to add value by finding new ways to appeal to millennial beverage consumers. She brings expertise in direct to consumer digital marketing, influencer relations, content creation and project management. Emma is an Italian speaker and recently completed her WSET Level 2 certification.

STEFANIE SCHWALB, SENIOR CONTENT & MEDIA RELATIONS MANAGER A born and bred New Yorker, Stef’s love of everything culinary knows no bounds. She has written about food and beverages for several years, covering everything from how to make goat cheese to pairing oysters and Chablis. Prior to joining Gregory + Vine, Stef was Media and Marketing Manager for Complexity New Zealand Fine Wine (a Division of New Zealand Winegrowers) where she managed and coordinated marketing, public relations, press and social media initiatives to enhance image and increase brand awareness of 14 premium New Zealand wineries within the U.S. market. Stef writes about enticing food, wine, craft spirits, experiences at restaurants, bars & lounges, wineries and wine regions across the globe. Her clients have been placed in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Southern Living, Forbes, Fortune, USA Today, Travel Channel, Food & Wine, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Spectator, among other high-level lifestyle and beverage media outlets.

STEPHANIE GUTIERREZ, ACCOUNT MANAGER

Since she can remember, Stephanie has been passionate about culture and languages and everything food related, largely due to her Mexican-American roots. Prior to joining our team, Stephanie pursued a culinary certificate, growing her culinary skills and delving into the world wine. In the past, she has worked as the Market Research Analyst for Ziff Davis Tech, analyzing potential clients, audiences, market trends among other marketing initiatives. Currently, Stephanie leads our national Pop-Up Albariño campaign for Rías Baixas executing events and media partnerships in major cities. She also manages the Yarden Wines campaign, helping introduce consumers to Israeli wines through press and social media initiatives. She has secured client placements in leading media outlets including Beverage Media, Forbes, Fortune, Thrillist, Travel+Leisure, VinePair, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Spectator.

Client: Ricasoli (Folio Fine Wine Partners) The Ricasoli family has been making wine at the Brolio estate since 1141. Ricasoli is not only the oldest winery in Chianti Classico, but also the oldest in Italy, with a prestige winemaking legacy that extends over nine generations to the current leadership of Baron Francesco Ricasoli. A new agency client, first programs have included a brand re-launch press release; holiday sampling; and planning for a 2019 national tour. Status: 14 Current client – since 2018

Client: Achaval Ferrer/Arinzano Achaval Ferrer is a leading winery from Argentina, and part of the Stoli Wine Group. We worked on the Argentine portfolio, as well as the introduction of the Arinzano estate, a Spanish pago. Tactics included supplier/winemaker tours; VIP media and trade tastings in over 10 markets; seasonal sampling; scoring management; digital activation; content management. Status: a 5-year campaign, completed 2018.

Client: Don Melchor First created in 1987 by the Guilisasti family of Concha y Toro and named for their forefather in Chilean wine, Don Melchor is a legacy wine from Chile. A Cabernet Sauvignon of refinement and elegant character, Don Melchor represents a singular expression of the Puente Alto Vineyard in the upper Maipo Valley, overseen by winemaker Enrique Tirado. In 2019, Don Melchor launched as an independent winery, Viña Don Melchor, to stand apart from the Viña Concha y Toro portfolio. Recent programs have included national press outreach and sampling for the 30th anniversary vintage.
