What can I expect During Training? If you book a training course with us you can expect all of the following: The very best venues We generally base ourselves in Scotland near Fort William as this offers a wide variety of top class river and open water options. Dam release rivers, local knowledge of low water venues and lochs that capture wind mean this course always runs. Enough time to get a quality experience The Canoe syllabus is very broad in both environments, so we use a fully packed 5 days to cover both open water and the river. The very best preparation before you arrive We understand that to get the most from your experience you need to review the coaching process, your personal skills and set goals. Our candidates have been very enthusiastic and complementary about our pre-course materials, saying how they enhanced the training. Opportunities to coach real students This is a crucial aspect of the course. You will be able to gain experience coaching both peers and real students ,solo and tandem.

Feedback You will receive on-going feedback from peers and tutors to guide you through the process and allow you to improve measurably. By undertaking an active role as an observer will also deepen your understanding of coaching on advanced water. Expert guidance from tutors It goes without saying that you get the very best input.
