BACKGROUND.

BRIEF.

DELIVERABLES.

TARGET AUDIENCE.

It’s not breaking news. The creative industries are competitive. You need to stand out and make your mark. Understanding what sets you apart from the next hungry young creative is key.

Share your own personal story. But don’t tell us what you think we want to hear. Explain who you are, your values, your identity, your purpose… your truth. This is telling, not selling. 1] Know who you are 2] Communicate it

COLLABORATION.

COLLABORATION WITH:

I’ve rented the Bradford studio few months ago before I started doing the D&AD project. But I only left 744 hours till the deadline to actually start doing the brief. With some help of my friends we kicked of the project and did it 4 weekend in a row 09:00 - 00.00.

I managed to collaborate with people outside the course. I never realised how much I enjoyed hard work and fun company combined together. I realised that no project or task is too big enough if you enjoy the people you are working with. And I really did.

RESEARCH.

The research I overtaken was more about storytelling than anything else. How do you tell a story? How do you leave an impression? How do you communicate in a visual and honest way without selling yourself? I had to answer a series of questions about myself and my experiences? And decide on how I wanted to present my story. I always loved installations therefor

I chose that form of media to deliver the message. I wrote out many scripts before I even came to my final one. It wa smore of a personal story than I expected. The brief that seemed to be easy made me question many things from my childhood experiences to my own role within the industry and which path will I choose after college?

PROCESS. GO PRO.

DOCUMENTARY.

FINAL.

From the very first day we set up a go pro camera in the corner of the studio to document our process which was one of the best ways of documentation we could have thought of.

Jaime was responsible for documenting the backstage and the process. He put together a small video of behind the scenes.

I am very proud and happy of the final outcome. I have enjoyed this project and feel that it has been a turning point of my personal development and brought a lot of selfconfidence and proved me that the process is the most important part of the project.
