This program is designed to provide you the optimum results you are looking for from your salt water chlorinator as well as maintain and protect your pool and equipment from damage. Prior to Using the Pristiva Program; Properly balance your pool water – take a water sample to your Dazzle™ professional for a complete step-bystep water test and analysis with the Dazzle™ AquaAce water analysis system.

In addition to testing and balancing your Total Alkalinity, pH and Calcium Hardness, your Dazzle™ professional will also be able to identify other potential problems that could affect the overall performance and results you achieve. For example: • Phosphates - if present, remove with Dazzle™ Phos Cleanse. Phosphates are problematic to salt water pools, leading to scale formation and the possibility of algae growths.

• Stabilizer – when maintained at recommended levels, the chlorine produced from your salt system stays in the water much longer, reducing demand on your chlorinator. When demand is reduced, your cell lasts longer, the negative effects of producing chlorine are reduced and maintenance is easier.

How to Use the Pristiva Program: 1.Initially, apply Pristiva Primer a. Backwash or clean filter b. With the pump running, slowly add contents of Pristiva Primer directly into skimmer c. Use 1 bottle of Pristiva Primer per 45,000 litres of pool water. d. Keep water circulating and do not backwash for minimum 6 hours Once applied, Pristiva Primer builds a unique base of protection in your pool water that prevents staining and scale formation. 2. Apply Pristiva Activator to pool water to achieve the proper salinity level, as recommended by the manufacturer of your salt water chlorinator (ie. 3,200 – 3,500 ppm sodium chloride).

Apply Pristiva Activator by slowly pouring the product around the edges of the pool, preferably in the deep end. Avoid piling Activator in any given area. Use a pool brush to agitate any undissolved Activator until completely dissolved. . Note: it may take up to 24 hours for the salinity to register accurately with the chlorinator.

After applying Pristiva Primer and/or Activator, wait 1 hour and then shock the pool water with Dazzle Ultra Shock to establish a proper chlorine residual. Use 125 g per 10,000 litres. Apply slowly around the edges of the pool, brushing afterwards to ensure dissolving.

4. Adjust the salt chlorinator to the 100% setting to maintain a total chlorine residual of at least 1 ppm continuously.
