The SIMA Group is primarily a community of entrepreneurs who, like you, are focused on the continued success of their business. This community has enabled us to become a major player in the outdoor leisure industry in Canada. How? We listen to our members and many of them are involved in our product selection process and our marketing strategies. Since our founding, increased sales and the profitability of our members are the primary objectives that drive us. The SIMA Group inc SIMA Group was founded in 1991 by independent pool merchants. The goal of this association was to unify the buying powers and resources of these stores, forming a cooperative framework to eliminate many intermediaries between the manufacturer and the retailers. This cooperative structure strengthens the competitiveness of each of our partnered retail merchants who are today called SIMA members.

Today our member network stretches from coast to coast and continues to grow. This is a unique opportunity for both you and the SIMA Group to combine our strengths to build and promote not just our industry but your unique store offerings.

The SIMA Group, due to the combined force of its members across Canada, is a major player within our industry and possesses the purchasing power necessary for the negotiation of advantageous agreements and competitive prices for its members.

The SIMA Group organizes two annual purchasing meetings to which all members are invited. These conventions allow our members to learn more about our programs and market trends, attend conferences, follow information courses and exchange ideas with other partners.
