t’s been more than three years since Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan announced the end of their marriage, but it seems they still have major issues to hash out. “This has been dragging on. Even their friends are surprised by how long it’s taking,” a source tells OK! of the pair, who share daughter Everly. “But they’re both holding out for what they think is right — and unfortunately, they can’t agree much on anything.”
DIVORCE DRAMA According to reports, Channing’s lawyer has requested to schedule a five-day trial to hash out details of their divorce settlement, including spousal support, attorney fees and costs, division of property and child support. The exes, who were married for almost nine years, are also hoping to settle the dispute over their percentages from the 4 MAY 24, 2021 OK!

(Jenna, 40, claims she helped find Channing, 41, the choreographer for the film’s live show in Las Vegas and dropped everything to support him when the production moved to London.) “Things were good between Channing and Jenna for a while until the money issues came up,” explains the source. And since then, “there’s been resentment and negative feelings building up.” While Jenna has new fiancé Steve Kazee by her side (the pair welcomed a son last year), the source suspects that the trouble with Channing has been taxing on the Broadway vet. Steve, 45, “is doing his best to be supportive, but hates being in the middle of this,” shares the source, adding that Jenna would like to see this matter settled sooner rather than later, but not without what she thinks she deserves. “Channing,” adds the source, “is equally resolved in
getting his fair share. Someone’s going to have to give in.” That may be easier said than done. “Channing and Jenna are both stubborn,” continues the source. “But their friends are hoping that in time, they will compromise because life is too short.” OK!

e’s one of the most beloved actors on TV, but Mark Harmon has spent much of his life shying away from the spotlight. Now, with his 70th birthday looming, OK! has learned that he’s finally sharing secrets about his life and career. “For Mark, getting older has been a good thing. It’s loosened him up, and he’s willing to talk about himself a lot more — including his wild days as a bachelor,” says the insider, adding that before marrying Pam Dawber in 1987, he was rumored to have love affairs with gorgeous stars like Karen Carpenter and Donna Mills. “He

made women swoon just by standing in the same room with them,” says the insider. “And Mark wouldn’t deny he had fun with it.” But when Pam, 69, came into his life, Mark says he happily walked away from it all. “They have one of the most solid marriages in Hollywood and that’s because they put the relationship first,” explains the insider, noting that Pam gave up a successful acting career to raise their sons [Sean, 33, and Ty, 28]. “Mark continued to work, and he’s grateful Pam never made him feel bad for it.” That’s not to say his career hasn’t had its ups and downs. In
2018, Mark’s fallout with former NCIS costar Pauley Perrette, 52, made headlines. “She complained about him bringing his dog to set after it bit one of the crew members,” says the insider, hinting that the incident may have led to her exit from the series. “Now that years have gone by, Mark’s extended an olive branch. He hopes that one day she’ll come back on the show, even for a guest stint.” She might not have much time. “Of course, Mark admits there’s a day he’d like to retire,” says the insider. “But he’s agreed to do one more season of NCIS first — he wouldn’t want to let the fans down.”

Now that Britney Spears is finally set to take the stand in her long-running battle against her controversial conservatorship, she’s been busy working with experts so she’ll come off as her best on the big day. Britney, 39, “has hired a team of pros to help her with everything from her posture to speech to anger management,” an insider tells OK! “She wants to be prepared for whatever might come up.” An L.A. judge recently granted a request by the singer — who’s seeking to have her father, Jamie, removed from the court-ordered conservatorship that’s given him control of her estate and finances in the wake of her 2007 meltdown — to speak at a June 23 hearing. “These guys Britney’s working with are highly qualified, and their services don’t come cheap,” the insider explains. “But she figures this may be her only opportunity to tell her side of the story, and she’s not taking any chances.”

ature calls! Demi Moore has grown sick and tired of Hollywood, and a pal says she’s itching to leave big-city life behind. The actress, 58, who’s spent much of lockdown at her ranch in Hailey, Idaho, “is planning to pick up sticks and move out there for good,” dishes the friend. “Demi’s outgrown the superficiality and competitiveness of L.A., and she’s ready to ditch all the hangers-on there in favor of a more grounded, spiritual crowd.” The

The former child star, whose career peaked with 2004’s Mean Girls before it got derailed by drug and alcohol abuse, hosted the late-night sketch show multiple times

Ingredients • 2 medium raw beets (approx. 8 oz) • 1 (25-oz) jar of chickpeas (or 1 2/3 cups dried chickpea, soaked, cooked and cooled) • 2-3 fat cloves of garlic • 2 tsp flaky sea salt or kosher salt (or 1 tsp fine sea salt) • 2 tbsp tahini • 2-3 lemons • A few ice cubes for blending 44 MAY 24, 2021 OK!
Directions 1. Heat the oven to 425 degrees. Cut the stems and tails off the beets, and wrap each beet loosely in foil. Seal the parcels tightly and roast for about 2 hours, though be prepared to go up to 3 hours. Open up and pierce each beet with a knife to make sure it’s tender. When you’re satisfied your beets are cooked, unwrap the parcels and leave to cool. 2. Peel and break apart the beets, and drop the pieces into the bowl of a food processor. Tip the chickpeas out of the jar, helping them loose with a bendy spatula or spoon, making sure you get all the gloop, too; it’s this that will help make it all so gorgeously creamy. you’ve cooked yourself, add a couple of tablespoons of the liquid they cooked in, or more as needed. 3. Press on two of the garlic cloves with the flat of a knife to bruise them and release the skin. Peel it away and add the cloves to the processor. Add the salt, tahini and 1/4 cup of lemon juice. Process patiently — it will take a while to combine — and once it’s well mixed, scrape down the bowl, add a couple of ice cubes, and blitz again until gorgeously smooth. 4. Taste to see if you would like any more lemon juice, garlic or salt, adding as necessary and blitzing again, then scrape into a serving bowl.

Scientists at the University of Kuala Lumpur have identified compounds in palm fruits, called tocotrienols, which significantly help promote hair growth. They are thought to reduce inflammation levels in the scalp, which is commonly associated with thin hair.
A second, larger study, was done to confirm the results. The study group was monitored for the number of hairs in a pre-determined scalp area at 0, 4 and 8 months. The results were impressive. Hair growth increased significantly as compared to the placebo group, recording a 16% increase at 4 months and a 34.5% increase at the end of the 8-months, compared to a 0.1% decrease in the control group.
THE STUDY RESULTS Repeatedly, studies are confirming the effect of tocotrienols in helping hair count. In a clinical study done to obtain the US patent, scientist could show that everyone in the study group taking 50 mg of a tocotrienol complex, had positive results after 5 months.

Researchers studied an area of the scalp equal to 2x2 cm and counted the hairs at the beginning of the study, at 4 months and at 8 months.
