1. Island of Fuerteventura: a. Presentation: Known as The Peaceful Island, Fuerteventura has an area of 1.679 square kilometres. It is the second largest island in the archipelago of the Canaries, situated only at 96 kilometres away from the African coast. Its extensive beaches of golden sand alongside the turquoise waters will make you feel like you are in a real oasis in The Atlantic Ocean.

The coastline of Fuerteventura is kown for kilometre upon kilometre of white sandy beaches that attract holidaymakers to this beautiful island. In the South you can find the longest beach (26 kilometres) and in the North you will find the wide dune beaches of Corralejo. The constant wind and its special water conditions make Fuerteventura a place where the infrastructure has been developed in association with water sports, especially surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and game fishing. Fuerteventura has a mild climate. c. Corralejo:

Perhaps the most well known of all the towns in Fuerteventura. The increasing demands of tourism mean that the resort is ever changing and growing. Most of the resorts bars and shops line the main street running down into Corralejo and ending in a maze of small streets by seafront, where you find plenty of restaurants. The harbour – as well as home to the local fisherman and yacht owners and day cruise ships, it’s also the port of call for ferry services, an hourly service to the neighbouring island of Lanzarote, just 35 minutes away.

Directly at the entrance of Corralejo, is a protected Nature Reserve which is a vast area of amazing golden sand dunes and turquoise waters. Corralejo has something for everyone, ideal for families and water sports enthusiasts. On a trip to the island of Lobos you will be able to enjoy the beautiful sandy beach which has a gentle slope into the water.
