Electronic Warehousing and picking The Peercore Electronic Warehouse module facilitates the processing of customer orders in a total paperless and efficient operating environment. This starts with the selection and grouping of orders into trucking manifests, creating logical picker groups and assigning manifests to picker groups. Then, using hand held wireless devices and bar code scanners means your entire warehouse can be controlled from a single work station. This includes the movement of stock from bulk to bin and the printing of bar code box and pallet labels. Capacity to lot track is standard, as the box and pallet numbers can be printed on the customer specific despatch documents. The System can also produce electronic advanced shipping notes and is fully integrated to an export customs module. Scanning of product during picking means stocks in your bins can be replenished automatically. This streamlines operations, improves productivity and minimises stock outs. The control screen is easy to use, managing the total warehouse operations with a simple drag-and-drop capability. The wireless transfer of jobs to pickers eradicates the possibility of lost and misplaced paperwork and any picking errors are communicated back to the controller immediately. At the completion of a picking cycle, invoices and delivery-dockets can be generated automatically. An optional integrated Weighbridge system provides the warehousing system with information regarding truck movements within the site and their load capacities. The accuracy of loads despatched is also confirmed as the truck leaves via the Weighbridge. The system is segregated into three parts: high level workforce and stock management, electronically picking orders and the in/out control of trucks including automatic generation of loading plan sheets. WORKFORCE AND STOCK MANAGEMENT: Orders to be filled are displayed in a logical and easy to follow way and pickers can be organised into groups that allow you to maximise staff efficiency.
Create new work groups with the click of a button. Move stock in the warehouse by creating stock-movement orders. Track your workforce and the filling of orders.
