Prepping For The Cookie Program
ATTEND A BADGERLAND-LED COOKIE FAMILY MEETING
There's a lot going on with the Cookie Program this year, so we want to make it as easy as possible for your Girl Scout to reach her goals this year. Badgerland is hosting family cookie meetings at each Girl Scout level in early February. We'll answer all the questions and reinforce the safety measures.

ATTEND YOUR TROOP'S COOKIE FAMILY MEETING IN EARLY FEBRUARY
In addition to the Badgerland-led family meetings, we recommend holding a Cookie Meeting with your troop to discuss your plans for the Cookie Program. You'll decide what type(s) of selling methods girls/families are comfortable with, as well as set troop and individual sales goals, choose a Cookie Share partner, and talk about money collection processes and deadlines. At this meeting you'll also turn in your parent permission form and submit her reward(s) choices. Troop leaders must submit their initial cookie order by February 15, so you'll want to hold your meeting before then.
Did You Know?
90% of Badgerland Girl Scouts say their favorite part of the Cookie Program is spending more time with family.
Activity: Decision Making
Being the boss of your own business during the Girl Scout Cookie sale there are lots of decisions that you will need to make. The biggest decision you will need to make this year is how much contact do you and your family choose to have with your customers. This is a decision your family will need to make together and what your family thinks is safe. No matter your family’s decision there are lots of great ways to still sell Girl Scout cookies! 1. No Contact (sell online through emails, videos, facebook live events, phone calls) 2. Minimal Contact (sell virtually, do porch drop offs/ pick ups, facebook live events, etc) 3. Most Contact (booth sales, drive through sales, door to door sales etc.)
