COMMUNITY SERVICE PATCH
31 Random Acts of Kindness For: All Girl Scouts
Program Runs: October 1-31, 2017
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Last fall, Badgerland Girl Scouts conducted over 27,125 Random Acts of Kindness during the month of October. Let’s see if we can double the kindness this fall! Giving back and doing good deeds is part of our DNA. So, in October, we’re challenging Girl Scouts to do a good turn every day of the month. How To Earn the Patch Complete 31 Random Acts of Kindness, one on each day in October. Need ideas? Think of ways to put a smile on someone’s face: leave a note, help a neighbor, save pennies and treat your little brother with an ice cream cone. The ideas are endless. Record the good deeds on the new Act of Kindness calendar at gsbadgerland.org (search for random acts of kindness). Complete the order form, submit it with payment and receive the newly designed patch in the mail. COOL TRIVIA Here’s why we’re doing this special program in October: Our amazing Girl Scouts founder, Juliette Gordon Low, was born on October 31 so what greater tribute to her than by spreading Girl Scout goodness?!
