Certifications/Trainings
Before a troop can stay overnight on camp property in a self-contained facility (lodge style, everyone in the same building), someone in the troop must complete the Overnight and Activity License found online in gsLearn. In order to build a fire and cook marshmallows or a meal, pitch and sleep in tents OR to camp at a non-council facility at an established campsite with access to running water, bath house facility and a designated fire ring, a Basic Camping Skills License is required. Earn it by first obtaining an Overnight and Activity License and then attending the Basic Camping Skills course.
Troops planning to camp in a nonestablished or primitive camp site (a site without access to running water, no bathhouse facility and/or does not have an established fire ring) need a Primitive Camping License. You must obtain the Overnight and Activity License and Basic Camping Skills License before taking the Primitive Camping License course.
Register for a training on our online calendar. For questions, e-mail info@girlscoutsp2p.org.

Girl Awards
Highest Awards
The Girl Scout Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards prove you’ve got what it takes to build a better today—and tomorrow. You shine brightest when you’re making the world a better place. That’s why you can earn three separate awards— the Girl Scout Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards—as you dream of a better tomorrow and take action in big ways today. Whether you want to focus on health and wellness, animals, STEM, public safety, education, the environment or any other issue, you’ll inspire others and learn more about yourself. As you earn one of Girl Scouting’s highest awards, you’ll change your corner of the world—and maybe even beyond. You can also earn GSCP2P's Trifecta Award if you earn all three Highest Awards.
Find pre-scheduled Gold Award Trainings and Highest Awards Q&As on our online calendar or contact us at info@girlscoutsp2p.org to schedule a special training session on a different day/time that works best for your troop/group and our facilitators through our program on demand.
