Experience a Summer of Adventure
Summer Camp 2020
HER SUMMER ADVENTURE AWAITS At Girl Scout Summer Camp, your camper will grow and thrive in an all-girl, girl-led environment. Through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, we connect G.I.R.L.s (Go-Getters, Innovators, Risk-Takers, and Leaders)™ with the outdoors. The Girl Scout Leadership Experience encourages girls to Discover themselves, Connect with others, and Take Action to make the world a better place. Guided by highly trained camp staff and her Girl Scout peers, she will discover true independence. With a focus on progressive camp activities, group games and challenges, your Girl Scout will take risks that build courage and self-confidence. Girl Scout Summer Camp gives your camper the opportunity to meet people of different backgrounds, free of the judgments and expectations of the outside world. In a community free of electronic devices, campers focus on interacting with one another in a natural setting. They will have plenty of opportunities to create their own adventure and develop a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors. We are dedicated to making sure that your girl has a unique outdoor experience, and that’s great news—because when Girl Scouts get outside, they discover that they can better solve problems and overcome challenges, develop leadership skills, and are happier overall.
BY THE END OF HER SUMMER ADVENTURE she will have tried things she never thought she would, found the self-confident leader within herself, and connected with other girls through friendships and memories she will treasure for the rest of her life.
