$145/night (4 PM-10 AM) $60/day use block of time (11 AM-3 PM or 4-8 PM)

Dishwashing

Those troops using campfire sites should wash dishes in the method outlined in Troop Camp training.

Equipment and Supplies

• Cooking equipment is NOT provided (i.e. pots, pans, utensils, and dishwashing buckets). Troops should plan to bring this equipment. • Troops should also plan to bring all cleaning supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. • Fire buckets, grates and rakes are available on the site.

Fires and Wood

The Reading Fire Department does not permit outdoor fires except in fire circles provided and for cooking purposes only. Please build fires in existing fire circles, and do not make new ones. All fire circles have rakes, a bucket, and a grate. Please build fires in existing fire circles, and do not make new ones. Gather only fallen dead wood for any fire. Please leave ashes in the fire circle; it is not necessary to rake, sweep, or shovel ashes before or after use.

Troops may use indoor fireplaces; please refer to the reservation confirmation packet for usage instructions.

Plumbing

Rice Moody has indoor toilet facilities and no showers.

Refrigeration and Food Storage

The Lodge is equipped with refrigeration. Please reference the chart above. It is your responsibility to monitor the thermometer for acceptable temperature readings of 40 degrees or below. If not, please notify Site Manager for correction.

Trash Disposal

A dumpster is located in the front parking lot. Troops are responsible for bringing trash to the dumpster at the end of their stay.

Reminders

• The pool is not available for troop or group usage. Please don't climb the pool fence.

Parking

When arriving at Rice Moody, please park in the parking lot only. The road into camp must be open at all times for emergency vehicle access. Do not stop in or block roadway. Do not park in the site manager’s driveway.
