2020 Good Neighbor Community Awards • Amy’s Omelette House for allowing troop booths for the fall sale and cookies. • Denise Anderson, Dolores Coulter and Deborah Dec for years of participation on the Kiefer-Stevens Scholarship committee. • Nina Anuario & OceanFirst Bank for chairing committees, fundraising, and generously supporting our council. • Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar for donating food for events. • John Begley for donating arrows to the archery club. • Carl’s Fencing, Hand & Stone of Toms River, Lakewood BlueClaws, Seastreak Ferry, Shore Catering, Silverball Museum Arcade, Six Flags Great Adventure, and Tuckerton Seaport for donating gifts to Alumnae fundraisers in support of Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore. • Tammy Colandrea, Walmart manager, for coordinating booth sale space for the troops for many years.

• Andrew DeFelice for assigning public meeting space for troop meetings and large events. • Atlantic City Electric, an Exelon Company sent a team of staff to make improvements at Camp Amity Acres. They constructed shelters and spruced up the camp before summer day camp. • Tyler Flint, music teacher, volunteered to choreograph and conduct rehearsals for the Girls Are Great talent show. • Forked River Diner has supported the Girl Scouts in Lacey Township for the past six years. They allow us to do cookie booths throughout cookie season and they even feed the girls while they’re there! • Fulton Bank & Sean Murray provided a team of commercial bankers to volunteer at the Howell/Farmingdale Cookie Depot and provided breakfast and lunch for all the volunteers that day.


• TJ Hurley For years TJ has been quietly helping out when needed on propertyfrom lending equipment and crews to transporting equipment to Amity in times of need. He sends his tractor and driver for the Spooktacular hayride every year and has staff help put tents up and take them down. He always asks how he can help and is happy to do so. • Jersey Mike’s Subs of Middletown for supporting Girl Scouts through their generous donation of food for the Annual Kick-Off Meeting and Casino Night Fundraiser events. • Knights of Columbus of Lacey has provided a depot location free of charge for several years. • L & L Paving Lance, Sandy, Ed and crew have never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Aside from the astounding $25k they saved us by repairing the road into camp and fixing our drainage problem, they have always been there in a pinch. When our equipment was down they gave attention to the PAC road, brought equipment to camp to load dumpsters, move trees, etc. They even provided parking assistance for two nights during Spooktacular. They’re not just a Good Neighbor, they’re a Great Neighbor! • Lacey Township School District for providing space for troop meetings and large events. • Victoria Magliacane & Investors Bank for chairing committees, fundraising, and generously supporting our council. • Kathleen Moriarty, Robotics Coach from the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey. Together, we have co-hosted FTC Robotics meets and collectively run the Girl Scout Summer Robotics Camp at the PAC.

• New Egypt Marketplace allows us to hold cookie booths, donate to troops holding community service events, provide candy for parades and allow Girl Scouts to leave flyers for customer! • New Jersey Natural Gas for their major support with fundraising events, financial support and for hosting two major cleanup days at Camp Sacajawea. They gave camp a much needed makeover! • Nick’s Place in Millstone supports Millstone’s Girl Scout Troops with the opportunity to conduct booth sales for the past several years. • Chef Jason Ostroski has gone above and beyond to help make the Howell community camping events extraordinary. He makes additions above our food plans and helps develop programs for our leaders and girls to experience outdoor cooking and the culinary arts. • Stop & Shop of Aberdeen & Maureen Catena has provided space for booth sales and happily greets our troops upon check-in and they always make us feel welcomed. • Tinton Falls School District has provided community events in Tinton Falls schools every year. This is in addition to troop meetings. • Jazmine Tooles developed a program called the Magic of Motion which focuses on physical therapy elements and health and wellness, partnering with Centrastate Medical Center. Jazmine, a Gold Award Girl Scout, was also a guest speaker at our 2019 Gold Award Ceremony. • Walnut Street Elementary School strong supporter of the Outreach after school program for many years. • Waretown United Methodist Church provided meeting space for troops and events over the years.
