Fall Fundraiser Service Unit Manager Role How Can We Help?

We have a whole team in place to support you in your role as Fall Fundraiser Service Unit Manager.

Key Responsibilities for FFSUM

• Receive and distribute materials in early September • Send monthly updates to Fall Fundraiser Troop Managers • Assist Fall Fundraiser Troop Managers as needed

Troop Support

• Enter your delivery location in M2 by October 1st • Receive product on your assigned delivery date

Product Management

• Sort and distribute product to troops • Alert delivery agents regarding missing product

• Rewards will be mailed to you at the end of the program

Reward Management

• Sort and distribute rewards to troops • Alert GSHPA regarding missing/damaged rewards

• Log into your M2 account beginning September 16th • Enter product and reward delivery locations

M2 Support

• Assist FFTMs with editing orders beginning November 1st • Make final edits to SU order by November 10th

GSHPA Product Program Toolkit Website containing GSHPA updates, resources and other tools related to the GSHPA Product Programs. gsLearn - Log into your MYGS account to access all the Fall Fundraiser training videos in gsLearn.

Delivery Tickets - While there are many helpful reports in M2, the Delivery Tickets make sorting product and rewards easy! Delivery Tickets are available for both product and reward inventory and can be filtered by Service Unit, troop or individual girl. **IMPORTANT - Delivery Tickets will not show on your M2 Dashboard until after GSHPA has submitted the final order on November 12th.


Getting Started Get GSHPA Approved - Before you can gain access to your M2 account, you must be approved as the FFSUM by GSHPA. This means you have: • registered for the current Girl Scout membership year • all required background checks up-to-date and on file with GSHPA • completed GSHPA Product Program role specific training • submitted your role specific online agreement form

Log into M2- Beginning September 16th, you will be able to log into your M2 account. If you don’t receive your “Welcome Email” simply go to the url below and click “Forgot Password”

gsnutsandmags.com/gshpa Distribute Troop Materials - Once you receive the troop materials in the mail, reach out to FFTMs about when/where to pick up the following materials for their troop: • Fall Fundraiser Troop Manager Guide - 1 per troop • Jumbo Envelope - 1 per troop • Nut/Candy Order Card - 1 per girl • M2 flyer - 1 per girl • Family Agreement Form - 1 per girl


Fall Fundraiser Service Unit Manager Juliettes Juliettes are individually registered Girl Scout members. GSHPA is required to make certain adjustments to the Juliette Product Program experience to stay in accordance with IRS Guidelines. Here is what you need to know about Juliettes in relation to the Fall Fundraiser Program: • Juliette girl members must be registered for the current Girl Scout membership year in order to participate in Product Programs • Parents/guardians of Juliettes are not required to be registered Girl Scout members or submit required clearances to GSHPA • Volunteer Support Coordinators will be the main support person for Juliettes and families • Juliette training for the Fall Fundraiser Program can be found in gsLearn • Materials - VSCs will provide Juliette girls and families with a manager guide and agreement form specific to their participation. You will provide Juliettes with the following materials: Jumbo Envelope, Nut/ Candy Order Card and M2 flyer • Once a parent/guardian has submitted the Juliette agreement form, they will be uploaded to the M2 site with a 4 digit troop number • Ensure Juliette families are informed of when/where to pick up materials, product and rewards


M2 Tasks for FFSUM • Log in and set up account • Enter address for product and reward delivery location • Assist FFTMs with editing product orders and reward selections • There is no submit button; whatever is showing in M2 on November 12th will get submitted for final orders • View product delivery date and time assignments • Print SU & Troop Product Delivery Tickets • Print SU & Troop Reward Delivery Tickets

Important Dates for FFSUM • Early September - troop materials delivered • September 16th - begin logging into M2 • October 1st - Product & Reward delivery locations due in M2 • November 1st-November 10th - assist FFTMs with editing orders & selecting rewards in M2 • November 10th - last day to edit in-person orders and rewards in M2 • November 12th - Delivery Tickets become available on M2 Dashboard


Product Management Product Delivery Location • Determine and enter your delivery location in M2 by October 1st • If product will be left unattended, make sure the site can be secured

Delivery Day GSHPA will work to inform you of your assigned delivery date as soon as possible. Please be advised that your delivery time will be confirmed by agents once the final order is submitted on November 12th. • Print your Product Delivery Ticket for the Service Unit • Count and recount to ensure you received the correct quantities of each item • Contact delivery agents about any missing/damaged product

Troop Pick Up • Notify the FFTMs of when/where to pick up troop orders • Print off a Product Delivery Ticket for each troop • Have FFTM sign off on Delivery Ticket to confirm they have received the correct amount of product. (retain for 1 year)


Reward Management Reward Delivery Location Determine and enter your reward delivery location in M2 by October 1st. It does not have to be the same location as your Product Delivery location.

Reward Delivery At the end of the program, you will be mailed the rewards for your Service Unit. • Print the Reward Delivery Ticket for the Service Unit • Report any missing/damaged rewards to GSHPA within two weeks of receipt

Troop Pick Up • Print the Reward Delivery Ticket for each troop and sort rewards accordingly • Notify the FFTMs of when/where to pick up troop rewards • Have FFTM sign off on Delivery Ticket to confirm they have received the correct amount of rewards


Fast Facts about the Girl Program •

In-person product items and rewards can be found on the Nut Order Card

Patches and rewards are cumulative

Troops opting out of rewards will still earn patches and will receive an additional five cents per item in troop proceeds

GO! Dough is tracked and managed by GSHPA

GSHPA will mail items associated with the “Sponsor A Penguin” reward directly to girls

Starting at the $800 level, girls can select between two different rewards

It takes the M2 site 1-2 hours to process online orders and update rewards

GSHPA will donate all Care to Share items to Soldiers’ Angels

Troop proceeds have increased to $1.10 per nut/candy item and $2.05 per magazine subscription

M2 will mail Personalized patches directly to girls 1-2 weeks after they have submitted their final design and mailing address in M2

Girls/families can reach out to M2 directly with questions regarding their patch

FFTMs can send an email invitation to the girls in their troop beginning September 23rd

• Girls can login to their M2 accounts beginning September 23rd by visiting gsnutsandmags.com/gshpa or by clicking on the link in the email invitation sent by the FFTM • Girls will be emailed an online report of girl delivery orders and contact info for customers
