Every Monday from January 13th to April 21st, you will receive a Weekly Bites email that will help you through the Girl Scout Cookie Program. We hope you will use this weekly email and our Cookie Resources page on the GSMW Website to help guide your Troop to success!
Weekly Bites
▶ Your Service Unit received Cookie Program paperwork to hand out to troops—please keep an eye out for communication on when to pick this up from them. If you need additional cookie paperwork, submit a Paperwork Request Form.
▶ Cookie Conferences are this week! You can still register here to attend.
▶ Host a caregiver meeting before January 31st to hand out paperwork, discuss how caregivers can assist during the program using the Cookie Caregiver Involvement form, and discuss troop goals.
▶ Encourage caregivers to register and attend the Caregiver Cookie Webinar on January 29th at 6:30 PM.
▶ Sign up to attend upcoming trainings that can be found on the Cookie Resources page.
January Cookie Program Calendar
Smart Cookies
Volunteers can access Smart Cookies tomorrow, January 14th. Review girls listed in Smart Cookies and submit any changes through Girl Changes/Updates Form or to your Member Experience Manager by January 21st.
If you have trouble logging into Smart Cookies, please try “Forgot Password”. If that does not work, or your email is not recognized please submit a User Change/Addition Form.

Girl Scout Cookie Program Weekly Bites:
January 21 - 26
Weekly Bites
▶ Distribute paperwork to your Girl Scouts/caregivers.
▶ Host a troop caregiver meeting before January 31st.
⇨ Discuss the plan for your pre-ordered Gluten Free Cookies and booths.
▶ Have your Caregivers fill out the Caregiver Cookie Involvement Form.
▶ Ensure girls are showing correctly in Smart Cookies and report changes by January 22nd at 12 PM.
Cookie Program Paperwork
Review the Troop Envelope and Troop Guide for important information and dates.
Distribute Paper Order Cards and Caregiver Guides to Girl Scouts and caregivers by January 31st. You will not receive girl money envelopes this year. Please be sure caregivers deposit money early and often and are storing money responsibly.
If you have not yet received your paperwork, please reach out to your Service Unit Manager. If you need additional paperwork, please complete the Product Program Paperwork Request Form.

Cookie Program Meeting
Hold a caregiver meeting before January 31st to get your girls excited and prepare your caregivers with cookie expectations and goals. Have caregivers fill out the Caregiver Cookie Involvement Form and attend the Caregiver Training Webinar on January 29th at 6:30 PM to get support with the Cookie Program!
Gluten Free Cookies
If your troop pre-ordered the gluten free (GF) Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies, discuss at the meeting how the troop will sell these cookies. Do not exceed the amount you pre-ordered. If you did not pre-order GF cookies or need additional cookies, you can submit a GF request. These requests will be fulfilled in the order they are received.
Smart Cookies Setup
Login and check that your troop and girl information is correct in Smart Cookies. Report any changes through the Girl Changes or Updates to Smart Cookies Form by January 22nd at 12 PM.

Weekly Bites
1. Log in to Digital Cookie and check troop information.
2. Set up your Digital Cookie Troop Site link.
3. Attend the Cookie Tech Demo Webinar on January 28th at 7:00 PM.
4. Have caregivers attend the Caregiver Cookie Training Webinar on January 29th at 6:30 PM.
5. Make sure girls set up their Digital Cookie sites.
6. Girls should start selling Friday, January 31st!
Digital Cookie
Volunteer access to Digital Cookie begins today! Check your email to log in. Verify girls are showing correctly and get your Troop site link set up. If you received the email and have trouble logging in please click on the “forgot password” option. If you did not get an email, visit https://digitalcookie.girlscouts.org/login select the “Need Help to Log In” option.
Set up your Troop Site link. Your troop site link can be shared so customers can purchase in support of your whole troop.
Cookie Webinars
Register and attend the Cookie Tech Demo Webinar to get a detailed look into our cookie technology and how to manage the Cookie Program for your troop. Encourage caregivers to attend the Caregiver Cookie Training Webinar on January 29th at 6:30 PM.
Getting Girls Started Selling
Caregiver access to Digital Cookie begins Wednesday, January 29th. Make sure your caregivers help their girls get their Digital Cookie sites set up. Encourage them to send emails to customers right away!
Girls start taking orders on January 31st (online and pre-orders with their Paper Order Card) Encourage girls to share site links and send emails. Please review our Social Media Guidelines before sharing links.
Gluten Free Cookies
If your troop pre-ordered Gluten Free (GF) Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies, discuss with your Girl Scouts and caregivers how your troop plans to sell this variety. Please make sure you do not sell more than the amount you ordered. If you did not order GF cookies you can put in a request. Requests will be fulfilled in the order they are received according to available supply.
