In order to do this, we strive to make a fulfilling and safe environment modeled after the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Please sign this document, pledging that you will continue to help build a positive and encouraging environment for every girl.

Girl Agreement

I will:

 Help others

 Show patience

 Demonstrate integrity

 Follow troop guidelines

 Honor my commitments

 Stand up for what is right

 Find solutions for disagreements

If I do not abide by the Girl Scout Promise and

Law, troop leadership may:

 Ask the girl to behave

 Remove the girl from the activity to review the Promise and Law

 Request the guardian’s assistance in resolving the issue

 Request the guardian’s attendance at future meetings and trips

 Seek assistance from Council regarding the matter and in locating an alternate activity.

Guardian Agreement

I will:

 Set a good example for my daughter

 Be coorperative, honest and respectful

 Arrive on time to drop off and pick up my daughter

 Provide current emergency contact information to troop leadership

The Girl Scout Promise and Law are shared by every member of Girl Scouting. The Girl Scout Promise is the way Girl Scouts agree to act every day towards one another and the Law outlines a way to act towards the world.

The Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:

To serve God and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be: honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do; and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout.

 Inform leadership of circumstances that may affect my daughter’s welfare (ex. providing information and legal documentation about additional individuals picking her up).

 Notify troop leadership if my daughter is unable to attend a meeting

 Find a solution for disagreements in a private and appropriate manner
