THE PALACE FURRY-QUETTE
Dear Furry Friend,
Before the fun of your stay with us may begin we want you to know, pets are truly welcome at the Gstaad Palace, just like their owners. However, there is some minor rules in place to ensure you can take the full advantage of your stay at the Gstaad Palace.
COSTS?
An amount of CHF 60 per “Furry Friend” and night (some little treats included) will be invoiced to your owner.
WHERE ARE YOU ALLOWED TO GO?
We understand you want to be with your loved ones, however please respect that you’re not permitted in the hotel’s five restaurants and two bars or in the Palace Spa. Indeed, you and your furry friends are very welcome on The Lobby Bar terrace, though.
WHAT HAPPENS IF…?
Your owner is causally liable for any damage caused by any accompanying pet. Although our wooden furniture, fluffy carpets or beautiful curtains look super teasing, you better be careful. Please also keep in mind “time matters”, if something has happened, please make your owners aware so they can contact us immediately before it’s too late and strong stains cannot be removed anymore.
WHO CAN HELP?
Our Concierge Team is well experienced in walking our well-behaving furry friends. In case you are in need of further assistance regarding your stay, please ask your owners to approach our Concierge Team. Please use the “Roomservice-Button” for anything related to “Snacks” and the “Housekeeping-Button” for anything related to your comfort. You may find these buttons on the main telephone in your room. However, please have your owners call to ensure our team understands your order perfectly fine.
UN-LEASH THE HOLIDAYS?
Certainly, you may enjoy your freedom wherever possible. But please bear in mind, the leash is also for your very own protection. Therefore, you better be on the leash all the time inside and outside the hotel to avoid any accidents.
We wish you a truly memorably stay with us!
Your Gstaad Palace Family
ROYAL TREATMENT FOR YOUR FURRY FRIEND
For each creature its own comfort. That’s our motto at the Gstaad Palace. It’s true that our four-legged guests are proper gourmets – like their owners. Or let’s just say they’re accustomed to certain standards.
Here is just one funny example:
A HIGHLY DISCERNING DOGGY.
One day, the Palace kitchen brigade decided to have a bit of fun.
A guest had brought along a tiny lapdog, which flatly refused to eat anything other than filet steak. And not just any old fillet steak, it had to be minced and laced with a dash of Champagne. The chefs decided to put this to the test. They replaced the Champagne with an inexpensive Fendant. But they had chosen the wrong guy to pick on – or in this case, the wrong dog. He steadfastly refused to take even a single bite of this eminently ghastly “Filet haché au Fendant”.
The irritated owner ordered a second portion – and the kitchen brigade had no choice but to switch on the mincer again, this time adding the customary dash of Laurent Perrier.
Certainly, it would be our pleasure to serve you and your friends some filet with champagne.
However, you may also choose from a little menu below.
