Hey Hey, Campers!

Can you believe it? Summer camp is already around the corner! Seeing you get pumped for the summer ahead — preparing to make new friends and dreaming up the lasting memories you'll create — inspires us to bring you the best camp adventures yet. While at summer camp, you'll experience joy and laughter, have space to express yourself, explore all the amazing things you can do, and feel supported by your Girl Scout sisters and staff. You won't want to say goodbye when it's over!

This year, there are so many new aspects of camp in store, including new activities, new programs, and even a new camp director! But the adventure isn't complete without you. Whether it’s your first summer with us or you’re returning for the sixth time, we can't wait to see you at camp!

All girls are welcome at camp! Girl Scouts embraces girls of all abilities, backgrounds, and heritage, with a specific and positive philosophy of inclusion that benefits everyone. Each girl — regardless of socioeconomic status, race, physical or cognitive ability, ethnicity, primary language, or religion — is an equal and valued member.

How To Register

Online Registration: Day & Overnight Camp

1. Visit camp.gswo.org to see camp descriptions.

2. Choose the program(s) and date(s) your camper wishes to attend.

3. Click “Register Now” under the program your camper wishes to attend.

4. Log into myGS to complete the registration and pay the $75 non-refundable deposit.

5. Pay your remaining balance by May 1, 2025.

6. Confirmations are located in myGS for your convenience.

Jotform Registration: Troop Adventure Camp

Troop leaders: Scan the QR code or visit camp.gswo.org/TAC to complete your TAC registration. A $10 deposit per girl is required. You will receive a balance and confirmation after registering.

Optional Bus Transportation

Overnight camp bus transportation to Camp Libbey from our Cincinnati, Dayton, and Lima Service Centers is available for two weeks of camp: June 15-20 & June 22–27.

Where You’ll Eat and Sleep

At overnight camp and Troop Adventure Camp, most campers sleep in platform tents. Meals are served family-style in a dining hall. You’ll also get to plan for and prepare a meal over the campfire. Meals are kid-friendly and healthy. We can accommodate most common food allergies and dietary restrictions.

Camp Leadership Opportunities

Attend Weeks 3-4 or 7-8 (two weeks) of overnight camp and earn your CIT 2 pin. Work in a specific program and take on a bigger role at camp. For girls who have completed CIT 1 in a previous summer. Junior Counselor Internship

Complete a minimum of two weeks at overnight camp and become a role model for campers! For girls who have completed CIT 1 & CIT 2.

Day Camp

Experience all the fun of camp during the day and return home each evening. Caregivers will drop you off and pick you up each day. Having too much fun and don’t want to leave? Sign up for the optional $50 overnight offered on Thursday night each week. Programs listed are based on your current grade level.

Day Camp Leadership Opportunities

Program Aide Training | $100

Earn your PA Award while working with Girl Scout Brownies at Week 5 of day camp!

Program Assistant | $75 Weekly*

Spend a week at day camp growing your skills and implementing programs. For girls who have completed Program Aide Training. *Week 4: $50

Camp Counselor-in-Training (CIT) 1 | $100

Attend Week 1 or 6 of day camp to earn your CIT 1 pin. Build your skills while planning activities for younger campers.

Camp Counselor-in-Training (CIT) 2 | $200

Attend Weeks 3-4 or 7-8 (two weeks) of day camp and earn your CIT 2 pin. Work in a specific program area and take on a bigger role at camp. For girls who have completed CIT 1 in a previous summer.

Troop Adventure Camp

Troop Adventure Camp (TAC) is an adventure for your whole troop, open to all grade levels. Troops customize their experience from a menu of 40 activities, while camp staff lead activities to allow girls and adults to participate together.

NEW this year, each session will feature a unique theme. Troops are encouraged to dress up and decorate their tables for a fun, themed dinner, followed by an all-camp game. Normal activities will not be affected by the weekly theme.

Check out activity options and register for TAC at camp.gswo.org/TAC. A $10 deposit per girl is required. Enough adults must attend to maintain ratio as outlined in Safety Activity Checkpoints. Those required for ratio attend for free!

One adult from each troop must complete the Troop Trips and Travel training module on gsLearn.

Junior Instructor Leadership Opportunities

Earn a stipend while gaining leadership skills as a Junior Instructor (JI)! JIs attend a 4-day overnight training in June to prepare for running many of the activities at TAC. All registered Girl Scouts in grades 9-11 are invited to apply! Not all applicants may be selected.

Gain additional experience by helping at the pool after completing the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training. Lifeguards must meet JI requirements, be at least 16, and be strong swimmers.

Volunteer at Camp

Do you love camp, but can’t spend your whole summer at camp or want to support camp with a smaller time commitment? You can volunteer to help at camp in ways big and small!

• Be a unit counselor for a week at day camp

• Ride the bus on pick up /drop off days at overnight camp

• Be a camp nurse for a week, the summer, or oncall to answer questions

• Make a home-cooked meal for out-of-town staff

Tell us what you’re interested in at gswo.org/volunteercamp, and a camp director will reach out with more information. (Special training may be required.)

Every Girl Deserves the Chance to Camp!

• Remaining Balance: Due by May 1, or your registration is subject to cancellation.

• Membership fee (if not a current Girl Scout for the 2024-2025 membership year): $25 due at time of registration. Work

Build your resumé outdoors this summer! Work at day camp, overnight camp, or Troop Adventure Camp to help girls discover their potential, grow their skills and knowledge, and see what’s possible outdoors. Camperships are available to ensure girls needing financial assistance can participate. Financial assistance is available and can be requested after registering for camp. All campers must pay the non-refundable $75 deposit and some portion of the program fee. The financial assistance form can be found at camp.gswo.org under Frequently Asked Questions.

We’re proud that all of our camps are accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and meet or exceed ACA standards.

Cookie Rewards = Time at Camp

• Sell 2,000 packages of cookies and select camp credit in your rewards to receive a $200 camp credit! (Deposit is required based on the camp selected.)

• Sell 800+ packages of cookies and you can attend one of two Camp Cookie celebration days, with a full day of classic camp activities and traditions, lunch, a sneak peek at next year’s cookie rewards, and some sweet swag to take home.

Have a special friend you want to share the camp experience with? You can BOTH request each other on CampDoc if you are registered for the same camp program.
