MAs normally last between one and four years as they are competency based and not time served. Every apprenticeship has an industry approved framework, which includes the following elements:

Administration of Medication (PDA) Entry Requirements: None Aims: This award is aimed at individuals whose job role involves administering medication in social services and related settings. 17th edition: City and Guilds 2382 -10 and 2382-20 update Course Entry Requirements: Electrical background/knowledge would be advantageous. Aims: This Certificate ensures you are up-to-date with the latest industry regulation on wiring and the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. It covers the 17th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations, which came into force in June 2008. These regulations are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671). If you’re a practising electrician, you must comply with the regulations for electrical work - this Certificate helps you do that. Aims: The main aim of the course would be to up-skill traditional mechanical machinists i.e. turners, millers etc to be able to programme, set and operate modern Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machines used in the modern manufacturing industry. We can offer training at two or three different levels depending on the applicants’ skill level with the candidate able to specialize in either CNC turning or CNC Milling.
